Lee D Weiss believes in giving back to the society in every possible way. In that order, as the Chief Executive Officer he makes sure that Elev8 Centers organizes programs that help clients improve their activity level, build self-respect, and gain confidence.
Some of the programs available to clients across these centers include:
- Adventure therapy: Since nature is a great healer, the programs like rock climbing, orienteering and zip lining, and others, focus on making the best out of the outdoors in order to overcome challenges in a better way, both in the wilderness as well as the ordinary life.
- Art therapy: Art is a great medium to express one's feelings. Art therapists help patients explore their emotions through different media. They help you resolve your inner conflicts, gain self awareness, manage behavior, increase social skills, reduce anxiety and improve self esteem through art effectively.
- Recreational therapy: Recreational therapies like scrapbooking, knitting, a game of baseball or bowling, can be looked upon as healthy ways to have fun, relieve stress and form relationships.
- Wilderness therapy: In this therapy, the participants are made to learn skills that help them rely on themselves to survive in nature. These include treatment plans like 12- step work and can last for several weeks.
Other therapies include intervention & detox, residential recovery, outpatient recovery, individual & recovery coaching, pastoral counseling, and more.
