P.O.V., [Y/N]

It's been hours...man, I never was on an airplane for this long! I finished my sleep and as soon as I woke up, it was announced that we were close to our destination. This is my second time sleeping, by the way.

[Time skip]

We took our small luggages and lined up to get out of the plane. As we got out...the atmosphere was different. Here I am...Asia. Far from home...far from my friends...now I'm onto new friends. Korean friends. Dad brought us to a place to get some refreshments before we go to our new home. Our home  was a big apartment though. And it is well known as the most peaceful apartment around that area. Welp, that's a start.

Once we're done, we got a cabbie and drove to the apartment. While in the vehicle, I looked outside the window as it drove around town. Things were really different. Josh was looking at the window on the other side. And I can tell that he, too, was amazed. Then, we were told that we have arrived at our destination. I looked at the apartment...wow. It was big..

We took out our bags and checked in. Our room was at a quite high level, which made Joshua excited because well, he loved high things. My brother has 0% fear of heights. We took the elevator and went to our apartment. As dad opened the door... wow. Like seriously, wow. The room was so big! How the heck can it even fit the apartment? This place is like a palace! But I've watched enough dramas that every time someone moves out, and gets comfy, bad things always happen next. Sigh.

I went and roamed around the apartment.

"Okay, this can be [Y/n]'s room," dad said.

I looked at it, and, well it was really nice I guess. It's a bit more bigger than my last room. I started unpacking my stuffs and so did my family. Joshua, well, his room is a bit....smaller now which is the other way round. But he seems happy anyway. Then, we got ready for dinner. The food was the famous Korean food, which is kimchi. I never got to taste it before! It's pretty good actually. Then, me and my whole family got to bed early because...well, we're tired.

[The next day..]

I woke up energized. It's the second day of my arrival here. School hasn't started yet though...it's a public holiday in Seoul(yes, that's where you're staying). My dad suggested for me and mom to go for an outing while he and Josh have a 'Father and Son Day'. We agreed and got ready to go around.

Mom spotted a beautiful park where people jog. We decided to take a walk there.

"So [Y/n], ready for school yet?" She asked as we walked around.

"Ugh,...nope...I'm not sure I even want to meet new people.."

"Aw c'mon, hon. Though I expect things to be way different now, I know we're gonna be fine."

Mom's words cheered me up a little. She has a point.

"Uh,I need the restroom for a while..oh, there's one right there. Be right back, 'kay?" She said.

"Okay," I replied.

I sat on a nearby the bench while waiting for my mother. I read a book/ listened to music/ watched Youtube/ etc. Out of nowhere, a Golden Retriever dog came to me and barked in excitement. I stopped what I was doing and looked at it. It had a cool leash around its neck...wait. Leash? It must've ran away from its owner! I decided to pet it. [Disclaimer: if you can't pet a dog/alergic, then you didn't :)] Soon, a boy came running towards the dog. He spoke in Korean and signaled for the dog to come to him. Then, he looked at me. He spoke to me in Korean.
