Trip to dd (Non-fiction)

The day

It's 11:31 in the night ice skating was great the coach ride there was awesome they had the radio playing which lots of kids sung along to

First we went swimming i Sat out and watched everyone else but fast forward an hour an a half later and we were going to get  changed and going for lunch it was fun

Everyone was having a good time but at 2 we went down into skating it was amazing

Fast forward an hour and we were back on the coach which sucked

But ya know you gotta go home I guess

Some of the kids were really good at ice skating others were gripping the bar for dear life

Loads of people fell over but ya know it's bound to happen

It was a great day besides a couple hiccups

There was 2 scummy kids who threw stuff at the two lads

Why would you do that?

We didn't even know these kids

I guess you can't have a trip without one or two scumbags

So many things happened and I can't explain them all but

On the coach trip there me and a couple other people were singing just having good time

On the way back the song "old town road" the remix came on i personally never heard of this song but it was ovs popular(i can see why now I've currently got it playing 😹) cuz everyone was singing it even the lads which was cool

I woke up at 5 but tried to get back to sleep didn't work really so at 7:07 I got up and got ready we then headed to McDonald's to get my dad a drink after that we went down to the youth centre

Most people got there around 8:40 it was nice everyone got to chat for a bit before we had to head onto the mini bus  the mini bus drove off around 9:15 it was an hour and a half away where we were going it was a long but satisfying drive ngl

When we finally got there we couldn't get in to the car park cuz height 😹😹

So we parked in a near by car park it was kinda hard making sure kids didn't fly across the main busy roads but once we had the walk we all headed in and got our wristbands

Shortly after we all headed to the changing rooms everyone got into there swim wear they all looked amazing

They were in the pool for an hour and a half before I know it we were heading to lunch everyone sat down for lunch at about 1:10 pm

I was one of the only people who didn't sit down for a proper bit of lunch tbh I was just more into keeping an eye on the kids who kept getting up and down all the time

About 40 minutes later we were heading into ice skating i was so excited and it seemed like everyone else was too

Geeez some people had really small feet and others needed really big skates

Before I knew it we was all in the ice having a blast it was honestly amazing

If someone would have told me I'd be doing that I'd have laughed at them and walked off

Once we left ice skating it was time to head was McDonald's i didn't bother getting food

1 it was really busy

2 I wanted to make sure everyone was ok

3 just couldn't be bothered

Before I knew it then two scum bags  were at McDonald's with us they threw one of them things that go bang at one of the lads and he looked so bored

I was really bugged by how these kids were doing this

I said a few words as they left so did everyone else tbh

Seriously i kinda feel bad that people feel like they need to do that for some kind of reason

Once we'd all left McDonald's we were heading home everyone was chatting kinda-

Anyway fast forward 30 mins maybe an hour actually we needed petrol like really bad we were under red but there was a petrol station just around the corner

A few of the girls wanted to go to the toilet so me and another member of staff took them they were hella loud

If I'm honest i was disappointed at how disrespectful they were being

We headed back to the coach music was playing when we were maybe 15 mins away from drop off the song "old town road" came on i didn't know the song as I stated earlier in this book

But everyone was singing there lungs out which made it feel like a movie where loads of kids for stuffed into a coach and just had the day of their lives

It was raining when we arrived at drop off the mood was dropping fast when we got closer to drop off it was a shame to see the trip end  but I'm happy it happened in the first place

Before we all knew it we were back home

It was a very good day and if could change anything about it maybe I would but it was definitely nice to have a day where everything seemed hopeful
