The day was extremely hot.

But it was definitely hotter in the pool by the Sports Science Faculty Building. While there was no breeze that stirred even the littlest of the leaves from the smallest branches of the trees that lined the area where the pool was, there was a rowdy collection of laughter as dozens of first year Sports Science students splashed around or struggled to float in the azure blue waters of the swimming pool; the color of which mirrored the clear expanse of the afternoon sky. While most of the students were young men, a few sprinkling of ladies were mixed among them. But that did not stop the masculine teasing as splashing as the first years played around and frolicked. The subject was a welcome respite from the humidity though to the few girls and gays that found a their way to the stands, the sight was enough to make them sweat profusely and slurp more of the iced drinks that they brought in for that exact purpose; ogling the sight of boys in trunks.

The female coach was observing the students in the water. Since swimming was one of the required subjects for the first year students, it was important that everyone would be able to swim after the term is over. While the curriculum is streamlined for each of the students to have a certain level of instruction on swim styles, the coach always found it helpful to observe which of the students needed more help and which were already advanced.

One of the students, a first year who hailed from the southern part of Thailand and much nearer to the ocean was seamlessly gliding through the water like he was born to it. The muscles in his arms bulged with each seemingly effortless stroke of the water, his chest wide and his waist as tight and as lean as if he was working out in the gym everyday. The coach had been watching Tiwat, or Type for sometime, he may be a little stockier than the leaner varsity swimmers but he was definitely a sight in the water amidst his more inexperienced classmates.

"Ai Type, this is the basic class you know, what in the ocean are you doing?" A tall, thinner first year called out. He was struggling to stay afloat and was lightly treading on the edge of the pool. The coach noted, that certainly that student needed more help than most of the class in order to be able to swim laps by the end of the term.

"And what are you doing Techno? If you cannot swim don't pretend to splash around there like this is the edge of the river. If you want me to teach you, just say so," the grinning young man dived under the water like a fish and suddenly appeared beside his thinner friend who immediately reached out and grabbed at the edge of the pool.

"Mr. Tiwat, can you come out of the water please," the coach's voice rang out, prompting majority of the students in the pool to turn their heads towards where she was seated.

"Chai Khrub," the handsome young student called out, using strong strokes to swim towards the edge, his footwork steady and the muscles at the back of his legs were as defined as a well-drawn sketch. When he reached the edge of the tiled pool, Type used both hands to gain a handhold on the pool's edge and pulled his body out of the pool, flicked his longish hair from away his face, streams of water ran downwards from his chest and body. His glistening muscles were an artist's dream as he combed through his hair using his fingers and squeezed the moisture out. More water cascaded down his defined torso, his trunks absorbed much of the water, his bulge as distinct as the muscles on his arms and legs.
