Percy's P.O.V.
I can't believe it. Annabeth, my Wise Girl, is alive. It just doesn't make sense. I held her cold, lifeless body in my arms. But now, now she's back, alive, and doesn't remember anything. She doesn't even remember me.
"So uh Annabeth?" she didn't even look up. "A-Annabeth?" Piper softly nudged her and whispered, "he's talking to you."
" Oh um.. yes?"
"H-How are you? I-I mean..." Gods I'm a mess I thought "I just mean, like, do you need any medical help or-"
" Sorry, I just-well... I just don't really trust anyone right now...you know?" Annabeth said kind of shyly. Gods, I've never seen her like this. It's heartbreaking.
"Yeah Annabeth, we know and we understand completely it's just-just" Piper added before she started tearing up. Jason stepped in.
" You can trust us Annabeth, if you need anything don't hesitate to ask, ok?"
" Sure.. um?"
"Jason. But seriously do you need anything before the meeting?"
"Um.. I-yeah I could really use some water and some food. I've been a little low on them lately."
"Of course um...Pipes?" Jason asked.
"Y-Yeah?"
"Could you please go and clean Annabeth up and then get some food and water into her?"
"yeah, sure thing, Jason. C'mon, Annabeth."
"Okay, um?"
"Piper" Piper gave Annabeth a small, sad smile.
"Okay Piper, lets go." Annabeth starts walking down the hill Piper starts to follow Annabeth but then Percy grabs her arm lightly.
"Oh and Piper?"
"Yes, Percy?"
"Could you maybe also give her some Ambrosia and Nectar?"
"Of course, Perce." she reached for his hand and gave it a small squeeze then jogged over to Annabeth. Percy continued to stare after them.
"Perce?" Jason tried but Percy just continued to stare off into the distance.
"Percy?" Hazel tried this time. "Percy, are you alright?" Hazel grabbed Percy's shoulder and he turned towards her tears, tears threatening to spill. "P-Percy?" That's when Percy lost it he began bawling and Hazel pulled him into a hug, he put his head in the crook of her neck as she rubbed his back soothingly. She gave Jason, Leo, Nico, and Frank a warning look as to say "You all better get over here and help me!"
"It's alright Percy it's-it's going to be alright." Everyone came over and engulfed Percy and Hazel in a hug and they stayed like that for a long time until eventually Frank spoke up.
"I hate to interrupt, but we were the ones that called the meeting so we should probably not be late."
"yeah, you're right Frank let's go," Jason said.
"Come on Percy, Let's go." Hazel held her hand out to Percy who took it while staring at his shoes.
"I" he clears his throat "I'm sorry for breaking down like that-"
"Hey Perce, we're here for you man," Jason said
"Yeah Perce we all break sometimes," Frank says
"Yeah but I'm a leader, I am supposed to be the strong one. I-"
"No Percy, don't even start. We all need some help every once and a while, even YOU." Jason states.
"yeah, we will always be here for you man." Leo puts in.
"Thanks, guys,"
"anytime bro," Jason says as he pats Percy on the back.
"Come on, it's been about ten minutes, the meeting is about to start," Frank says. Percy continued to hold Hazel's hand -because he desperately needed an anchor- and as they walked, Percy thought about how great his friends are, and how lucky he is to have them.
Finally, they reached the big house. Percy smiled at Hazel, squeezed her hand, released, took a deep breath, then opened the door to the big house.
