"New Girl in Town" [BBS X reader]

2 || Welcome to Vixin High!

I stop in front of a sign that says "Vixin High". Yep, this must be the place. I look around and see many groups of people- some are goths, nerds, jocks, or just others. It's what I kinda expected.

I walk through the double-doors entrance..and take a deeep breath. I look down at a crumpled paper that is supposed to be my schedule. Let's see...

Homeroom

1st period- math

2nd period- home ec.

3rd period- language arts

4th period- Social studies

Lunch

6th- science

7th- P. E.

Hm..first I should get my math notebook, then put everything away in my locker.

As I'm walking down a hallway, I see a group of 4 people standing in front of my locker. I study them, because who knows if these guys are gonna turn out to be bullies or not?

The first guy wore a green shirt, black hair and dark blue jeans. His shirt said something like "pancake shop".

The guy next to him had a helmet on that had pig ears attached to it. Weird. He had a white shirt with a bright lavender cat on it. And his outfit was finished with black jeans.

The next guy wore a suit and tie for some reason. Not the worst I've seen. His hair was dyed purple and his roots were a caramel brown. He also wore glasses.

And the last guy, who was talking to the rest wore a red jacket with white stripes on the sleeves. He had jet black hair, black jeans and sunglasses.

I get very nervous walking over there.. what will they think of scrawny ol' me? NO GAH STOPPIT! I'm overthinking things again... Ok just walk over there and explain that my locker is right there. Not so bad, right?

I make my way behind the guy with the red jacket.

"uh- um..excuse me but you're kinda standing in front of my locker."

Dammit..I stuttered.

All four of them quickly turn their heads in my direction.

"Oh, my bad. C'mon guys." The red jacket guy said.

"Hey beautiful, what's your name?"

I freeze. Wtf did they just say? I turn my head around.

"Shut the fuck up, Tyler!" Red jacket guy said.

Ok so I know that guy's name is Tyler..

"Sorry about him. He can get..inappropriate at times." He says as he shifts out of they way of my locker. "No problem. You guys seem nice...do you want to be friends?" I ask, rubbing my arm. It was my first day of school after all. "Of course," Tuxedo guy says, "but we need to introduce ourselves first!" "Oh, go on I'm listening." I say after I get my things from my locker.

Tuxedo guy stepped forward first as if he were on a stage and all the spotlight was on him. "I'm Craig! Oh- another thing we forgot to mention, we all have nicknames for each other! Mine's Mini. All of our nicknames come from our gamer tags."

Oh cool! These guys play video games as well? I mean..it depends on what type but I'm down to play with new friends.

"Really? What type of games do you guys play?" I ask. Red jacket guy steps forward, "We play a lot of games. For example GTA5, CoD, Dead by Daylight, Gmod, Human Fall Flat and tons more!"

Oh. My. God. They're the people I've been wishing I would meet for the 16 years I've lived. HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL.

"Wait seriously?!," I say out of astonishment, "I play the same things! Do you guys maybe wanna play sometime? O-or today after school is fine—"
"We'd love to play with a new member!" Green shirt guy cuts me off. Tyler nods his head in agreement, "Yeah, and we have even more friends for you to meet that also have the same interests."

*RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING*

"Welp, we all just missed homeroom on our first day. But I hope to see you guys around!" I sigh. "Wait, we haven't even said our names yet-" Red jacket giggles. I start giggling myself, "Oh yeah! I'm Y/n. What's yours?"

"Evan."

"David."

"Tyler."

"Craig, but you already knew that."

I nod my head as I get ready to head off to class. "Thanks guys, stay safe!"

"Hello everyone! I'm Mr. Ives, and I hope we have another wonderful year at Vixin High. Today's lesson is getting to know each other. I want you to work with the person I assign you with to try and solve these equations. When I call you and your partner's names, come up here and grab a paper to work on together."

Oh no...none of my new friends are in here..ah jeez...

"First partners are..Mark...and Sean."

I hear them high-five each other while they went to get a paper.

"Second...Jaiden and James..."

"Third..Felix and...Marzia..."

Oh god my heart is racing...when in the world is he gonna say my name??"

"Fourth...Marcel and...Y/n.."

I shouldn't have spoke too soon.

I get up and went to get a paper. My 'partner' locks eyes with me as I grabbed one. "Hello, you're the new girl right?" "Yep, that's me." "Nice."

Thats....one way to start a conversation.

We decided on a place to sit and settled on the seats where Marcel sat. He started twirling his pencil, making a "brrrrr" sound as if it where a plane. I was kind of fed up, but at the same time found it cute..wait what?

"Hey can you...help? Please?" I ask. Marcel perks up, "Oh- Uh yeah sure! What question?"
I point at the question I was 'stuck' on. I wasn't, really. I just wanted him to stop whatever he was doing before the other classmates start getting annoyed. "Oh yeah, uhhh..." He started counting on his fingers, "I think it might be 7?" I went to check if his answer was right. And yet surprisingly, it was.
"Oh..thank you. Let's do number 2 now." I look up as he nods his head.

I swear, as soon as the bell rung everyone disappeared in an instant. I took my time for no reason really. But I was stopped by someone calling out my name. I turned around to see that Marcel guy waving his hand and walking towards me.

"Hey- uh Y/n. I was wondering if you could help me with studying and stuff?"

"You mean tutoring?"

"Yeah yeah whatever. But could you do it for me? Pleaaase?"

I looked up in thought, "Yeah sure. What time?"

"Around 3:30, after school." He said with a big smile.

"Gotcha! I guess I'll cya after school."

"Ok, cya!"
