Sitting in chair at the salon as my hair was being straightened, my manager comes up to me, handing me her phone.
"Watch the video Joohyun-ah, he is a fan of yours," She says as I nod pressing by as the sound of the cars fill the room, followed by tires screeching, as I was in awe watching the cars go at high speeds into the turns sliding side ways.
"What are they doing Unnie?" I ask her looking at her before looking back to the video as the smoke of their tires hid their cars.
"They are drifting, it's actually rather entertaining to watch," She says as the round finishes with Y/n coming out on top,moving onto the finals, "He drives a R34 GTR for his daily driver, making over a 1000 horsepower."
I nod as to the video continues onto the finals with Y/n against someone in a BMW M3. I hand the phone back to manager, "I'll watch it later so send me the link," I say to her as she nods as the salon finishes up my hair. Getting up my keys and my pursue walking to my car looking at the light shine on the paint.

I look at the people walking by flashing them a quick smile as I get into my car, driving off arriving at MBC for my schedule causing people's attention to turn onto me as I park my car, making my way into the building. Getting into the conference room waiting for the producers to come. I take out my phone looking up Y/n Marius, as I want to know why my manager showed me him. Judging by his wiki page, he's a giant both in height and the drifting scene as I pull up another Youtube video of him, it was a little tour of his estate in the states. The most interesting part of the video was the later walk through of his R34 GTR.

The car is beautiful, well taken care of, I took chance as well to get a good look at his face, He's actually quite good looking. But I have to cut the video off as the producers come into the room, the pleasantries were exchanged as we go straight into the meeting.
"So we want Irene to go to America for a vlog type of show, with this Formula Drift Racer," The producer says as he connects the laptop to the screen, "We already talked to him, and he said that is fine with him for her to stay with him during the duration of the show,if that's fine with you of course."
"So who is it?" I ask them as he pulls up a video filling the room with the sounds of turbos and tires screeching.
"Y/n Marius, the reigning champion," he says as the 2jz screams out leaving behind huge clouds of smoke.
"I know him, my manager showed me a video of his before I came here," I say as the video gets paused, "I already wanted to seek him and talk to him about his cars."
"Well that's good then, see this show as help," he laughs out.
"So when do we start?"
*Time Skip*
I lay in LA, as I wait for someone to pick me up, the producer said that they already have someone to come to pick me up so I just wait scrolling through my phone, I was interrupted by car revving it's engine, sounds like a RB26DETT, I look up and look around to see Y/n getting out of the car, no wonder it sounded like it, it's because it was.
"Hello," I say to him bowing as he looks at me and does a slight bow grabbing my luggage and putting it in the trunk, as I walk over to his car checking the status of my car being shipped him saying it has arrived since I shipped it out here a few weeks before I came, "Do you mind taking me to the ship yard, my car has arrived?"
"I don't mind, I'm rather interested in what car you driving as a kpop idol," He says pushing me to the other side softly as I forgot it is a right hand drive car, I hide my face in embarrassment as he softly chuckles, "So what car are you driving?"
"I drive a R35 GTR," I say as I hear him go 'oooo' I laugh softly, "Pearl white, making almost 700 horsepower."
He nods, turning on his blinker to merge into traffic, making his way to the ship yard.
Arriving at the ship yard as he asks the person where a shipping container from Korea is, as we follow the man in his golf cart, as we arrive at the container, the guy opens it and leaves as Y/n looks around my car. Getting behind it pushing it out as I fish out the keys from my pursue unlocking the doors, getting the car started. Letting the V6 clear up a bit as he nods, coming over to the driver side.
"Sounds good, follow me to my place and I'll show you where to park," He says to me as I nod as see a small smirk, " Try to keep up."
He jogs over to his car, starting the RB26 letting it echo throughout the ship yard before speeding off, as I start off after him. As we race out,the security guard heard us coming as he opened the little gate thing right before we got there as we speed off to the highway......
A/n: First chapter of the new story I hope you guys enjoy this is going to be heavy in the car culture of the States, I'll explain everything in a separate authors note for those who don't know anything about cars and are only here for the beauty that is Bae Joohyun. But since car culture is going to be huge part of this are suggest that you do read that authors note and go back to it throughout the story as I will keep it updated when new car stuff comes into play in the story.
