Derek and I have been walking for about five blocks. A little talking, but mostly silent. Ever since I got out of the hospital, everyone tried to watch what they say around me as they see me as a fragile kid.

"You're so quiet," I say.

"I'm sorry."

We kept walking until we went into a bar, a karaoke bar. We took a seat at a booth; I ordered nachos while Derek ordered pasta. He kept looking at me as if he's trying to remember every single detail of my face. "What is it?" I asked, "It's nothing," he said. I slightly rolled my eyes.

Some girl went on stage singing the song 'Teenage Dream' by Katy Perry. She's not bad, the crowd clapped and cheered when she finished. Derek looks at me with a smile, "Maybe you should go up there and sing," I shook my head "I couldn't, I'm not that good."

"But you are."

"How would you know?" I questioned.

Derek didn't respond but went back to his past. Did I trigger something? Again, we went quiet, eating our food as we hear the people sing to the words of some song.

I didn't mention having a memory last night or even if I should mention it. It might be a good, sure, but if I ask for more memories, he wouldn't tell me not also the others would.

Derek paid the check; then we head home. Just us in my living room, nothing but silence. I'm sure he has a lot in his mind just as much as I do, but I think he is afraid of me not being able to handle it.

"I have questions," I blurted out.

"I know," he responded quietly.

"Then why won't you tell me the answers?"

Before Derek could say anything, Danny came in, "Hey."

"Hi," I greeted quietly.

"How are you feeling?" Danny looked at me.

I didn't respond except to say I'm going to my room. I shut the door behind me, putting my headphones on but debating if I should listen to music or not. Again, I look through my phone, seeing photos and music, "How did this happen?" I whispered to myself.

Just then, someone knocked on the door and slowly opened it but, I rush to close it with my body pressed against it. "Ohad, it's Danny, please open up" I didn't say anything for a minute until he pleaded again "Please, let's just talk."

A tear started to roll down my cheek. "I-I need to be alone right now, please."

"But-"

"Please," I say as I try to hold it together.

I couldn't deal with anyone right now, especially to those who won't tell me what happened. I only got one memory back, and that's with Josh in his convertible in the middle of nowhere.

With my headphones still in my ears, I look at my bed than on my phone. "Should I get another memory back? I told myself. Looking at the time, which is 4:15 Jake should be home soon.

When the clock strike 5, Jake entered when I heard him, I opened my bedroom door slowly "id everyone else left?" I asked softly. He nodded. I walk towards him, giving him a tight hug "Everything okay?" he sounded worried.

"Yeah."

"Are you working tomorrow?" I asked.

"I don't think so."

"Can we have a boys night, just the two of us?" I slightly smiled.

Jake smiled back "I'd like that."
