Chap 2 - The Breakup

*Weekend, Saturday*

Mom:"Lin arh! 起床了阿!"

R:" Orh... 多十分钟larh..."

*Mom walks into the room*

Mom:"太阳晒到屁股了larh!" *hits the butt*

Rachel finally wakes up and went to eat her breakfast while her mom washes the clothes and her younger brother was watching the television. Her dad and elder brother are not home.

Mom:" 我跟弟弟去NTUC horh!"

R:" Orh..."

*Door bell rings*

David appeared in tight skinny jeans and a dark blue button up, making him look stunning.

D:" Your mom at home?"

R:" Nope..."

D:" You free? Wanna go out together?" *scratching the back of his head*

Rachel was embarrassed as her hair is very messy and she was blur.

R:" Huh? Orh..." *opens the door*

D:" Go get ready bahs, I'll just sit here on the sofa and wait for you."

R:" Orh..." *walks into her room*

*20mins later...*

Rachel walks out from her room and found David asleep on the sofa, sleepy soundly. Soon her mom and brother came back. At the sight of David sleeping, Rachel's brother had an idea. He took a feather out and tickled David at his nose. David did not wake up and only turn to the other side and rubbed his nose. Seeing his reaction, Rachel could not help but giggle.

"Wakie wakie!" Rachel said while sitting down infront of David's chest and ruffled his hair.

D:" Sorry I fell asleep..." David yawned and hugged Rachel from behind and kissed her cheeks. "EEEW!" Rachel's brother who was standing behind the sofa said. Upon hearing the voice, Rachel and David were shocked. They turned around only to see his disgusted face.

*mom appears*

Mom:"Eee what eee? Go do your homework larh!"

Bro:"Orh..."

D:" He is so much like you, always saying 'orh...' "

Rachel felt shy and playfully hit David's arm.

D:" Let's go bahs." *giving a warm smile that makes Rachel melt*

R:" Orh..."

D:" Bye Auntie!"

Mom:"Ok! Bye! Enjoy yourselves!"

*reached first floor*

R:" SHIT! I forget to take my phone!"

D:" Go back up and take bahs."

*in the mean time...*

Bro:" Mummy why you let Jiejie go out with David Korkor but not Jing Liang Korkor?"

Mom:" Because David is nice, unlike Jing Liang."

Bro:"Ok... I like David Korkor more also HAHAHA!"

D:" Auntie, do you really think I am nice?"

Hearing a voice from someone who is not supposed to be there, Rachel's mom and bro were shocked.

Mom:"Yeah... You are... And... Actually... I do hope that you are my son-in-law"

"WHATTT?!?! DAMN YOU DAVID!!! HOW THERE YOU STEAL MY RACHEL AND BE AUNTIE'S SON-IN-LAW?!?!" Jing Liang angrily shouted and threw a punch to David's face, making him fall at the sudden attack.

D:"What? I didn't..." *rubbing the blood away at the corner of his lips*

JL:"DON'T YOU LIE!!! I HEARD AUNTIE SAY YOU ARE HER SON-IN-LAW!!!"

Jing Liang wanted to throw another punch at David but Rachel went down on her knees and hugged David tightly, preventing Jing Liang from hurting him another further.

Mom: *looking at bro* "You get what I mean now?"

Bro:" Yea... David Korkor didn't even shout."

R:" Stop it! How could you hit him?!" *tears flowing down her cheeks*

At the sight of the tears, Jing Liang felt guilty.

JL:" I...I...I... -"

R:" Enough... There is no need to explain... We are over..."

After finishing that sentence, Rachel helped David up and they went into the house, into her room, leaving Jing Liang there outside the house.

R: "You ok not?" *looking at his lips*

D: "Yeah... OUCH!"

R: "Sorry..."

D:"Its ok..."

R: " 弟 arh! Go get the first aid kit!"

Bro:" 拿"

R: "Thanks~" "Come... Let me clean it."

D: "Oww...."

R: "Pain arh? Grab my piggy bahs..." *passing her soft toy pig*

Bro: "Mummy ask if you two want eat lunch not."

R: "Orh..."

Bro: "Korkor you lehs?"

D: "Same as Rachel."

Bro: "Huh? What did Jiejie say? Korkor can you repeat?"

D: "She said orh..."

Bro: "OMG! You two sound so alike! Perfect Match!" *runs away giggling like a girl*

R: "He damn niang sia!"

D: "Did you hear what he said? He siad we are a perfect match!"

R: "Ofcourse! Thats why we are such good friends! Let's go see what mummy cooking bahs!" *walks out the room*

"DAMNIT! I just got friendzoned!" David thought before following Rachel.
