Chap 3 - The Not So Normal Life

For 2 months Rachel has been living a very normal teenage life. Going out with her friends, studying and keeping in touch with David as always.

Everything was normal until Jing Liang decide to appear and rub salt onto Rachel's wound. Although Rachel seem cheerful like nothing had hapened, inside she is hurt badly.

One day after school, Jing Liang stopped Rachel from opening her locker.

JL: "Oh my darling, it looks like you are doing totally fine without me huhs. Well, than it must be totally fine with me having a new girlfriend then. Meet _____ my new girlfriend."

____: "Hi, you must be Rachel. My name is ____, Jing Liang's new girlfriend. Nice to meet you."

JL: "Oh! Rachel I must tell you how awesome this girl is. Pretty, kind, friendly and ah! She is faithful! Unlike you *smirk*"

After finishing his sentence, Jing Liang and ___ went off. This time it was Rachel left alone standing at the corridor like an idiot.

*at a park*

D: "Rach baby, whats wrong with you? You look so pale.

Unable to her back her tears, Rachel started sobbing and then crying harder and harder.

R: "J...Jing... Jing Liang...."

"Don't cry, I will always be with you, forget about that bastard." David said, tugging Rachel's hair behind her ears. Rachel sniffed and snuggled into David's chest, hugging him at his waist, David also wraps his arm over Rachel's shoulder.

He gave a kiss on her cheek and Rachel's world soon blackened out.

*1hour later...*

R: *strectch* "OMG WHATS THE TIME NOW?!?!"*fratically searching for her phone and accidentally hit David*

D: "Owww! Chillax gurl. I told your mum that you will be home late already, don't worry ok?"

R: "Oh.. Sorry for hitting you... And.. Thanks~~" *pecks David's cheek*

D: "Nah.. Its okay. Are you hungry? Let's go eat. What you wanna eat?"

R: "Erm... Lets go eat cheese pizza!"

D: "Okay sure, lets go~ I'm hungry."

*at the cheese pizza restaurant*

D: "Table for 2 please."

Waitress Claris: "Sure, please come this way."

D: "Can we have 1 large cheese pizza and 2 glass of sprite please."

WC: "Sure, please be informed that the waiting time of the pizza will be about 15mins."

*sound from somewhere in the restaurant*

"OII JING LIANG! YOU BETTER LISTEN TO ME OR YOU GET OUT OF MY HOUSE AND NEVER APPEAR AGAIN!"

Hearing that name, David and Rachel both froze in their seat. Afraid that Rachel would break down again, David hurriedly went over to Rachel and gave her a big bear hug.

D: "It's okay.. Don't worry alright? I'm here with you."

R: "Let's go somewhere else to eat..."

D: "Okay, if that is what you want."

Jing Liang's mum: "Rachel! How dare you appear in front of me?! It is all your fault that Jing Liang is messed up now, always screwing some random girls and changing a girlfriend every week." *pointing her finger at Rachel*

D: "Auntie, I think you got it wrong... It was Jing Liang that was being mean, it is not Rach -"

JLM: "And who are you?" *interrupting David*

D: "Oh, I am David, Rachel's best friend."

JLM: "Ahh... The one that caused the breakup..."

R: "Enough! Auntie you should ask Jing Liang what he did... David, let's go...." *drags David put of the restaurant*

R: "Can I stay overnight at your house?"

D: "Sure, let's go, I'll help you call your mum and tell her that you are going to stay at my house."

R: "Thanks~"
