Those stupid raccoons. Tricia thought to her self as the rumbling of the things in the attic grew louder. She pondered, looking around for the first little thing that could distract her from the little nuisances of the raccoons. A book.

A little green hardback book in her bookcase, that looked like the letter T. Mostly, the only book that Tricia really admired was The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett.  She didn't care much for more modern books. She liked more of the older sort of books. She grabbed the book from the shelf, and began to read with her reading light on the nightstand.
