Kai💗 "i'm turnt up in the club" "Come on Kai we're gonna be late for the concert!" my best friend, Ava said rushing me.
"Okay okay, i'm ready." I slipped on my sparkling shoe. We're going to a show that this guy that Ava is talking to will be at, his name is kd. "remind me again why he's gonna be at this concert?"
"Because Kai his friend is performing there, now let's go! the uber is outside." she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the door shutting it behind us.
anywho, i'm Kai Smith. i'm 18 and my dad got my mom pregnant when they were just 16 so when i turned 16 they decided that i was old enough to be left alone for the most part. no seriously, don't get me wrong they love me and all but i'm alone 5 days out of the week. but it's fine because they're super wealthy, even though we live in Baton Rouge.

"i'm glad we're taking an uber because i'm trying to get lit!" i said. i had a blunt in my purse that i planned on smoking before the concert started.
"yeah me too, that's why i made sure we left early." Ava had whiskey. i'm not much of a drinker and i've never got drunk before so she can keep that. after about 25 minutes we pulled up to a huge building with lots of cars pulling up. we got out of the uber and made our way to the back. i lit my blunt and ava poured her tiny bottle of whiskey into a bottle of sprite. "wanna try?"
i scrunched up my eyebrows. "stop playing with me ava you know i don't drink."
she shrugged. "your loss." i watched as she gulped it down. i took a hit of the blunt and inhaled and my body felt numb. i passed it to ava and she did the same.
"ava you gone be fucked up!" i laughed and so did she. our tolerance is so low it only takes a couple of hits, and a few sips for her. after we finished we stumbled out way to the entrance.
"let me text kd and tell him we're here." she pulled out her phone and did that. "he said come around to the back."
"fuck! we just left from there" i started making my way back to the back struggling to keep my balance and ava wasn't any better. when we got back there we saw two guys standing there. one of them must've been kd.
"hey kd!" ava hugged him and he hugged back tightly. awee. i started laughing making ava laugh too.
"nothing nothing. but anyway Kai meet kd, kd, meet Kai."
"hey kd, you better be treating my best friend right." i said. it felt like my words were coming out in slow motion.
"hell yeah i'm treating her right, i would never hurt her." kd said wrapping his arm around ava. i looked over at the other boy he was looking down at his phone but he must've saw me look at him because he looked up at me and ava. when i looked at his hand i saw he had on three big ass rings with some bright ass diamonds. he smiled at me and that's when i notices his bright ass grills. i also noticed he had some dents in his head LOL. but he was really cute to be honest.
i started laughing at nothing. "so you gone introduce us to your friend?" i looked at kd and him and the guy looked at each other.
"this is kentrell, he the one performing tonight." kd said.
"well hi kentrell." me and ava waved and he smiled again showing those sexy ass grills off.
"y'all look fucked up as hell" he said. damn he got a thick ass accent. and that shit was a turn on.
me and ava both laughed making the boys laugh as well. "well alright imma bring ava inside and imma let the fans know you gone be in there in five minutes, ight?" kd said to kentrell. kentrell nodded and kd and ava walked inside.
yooo they really left me like that. that's crazy. "y'all smoke or sum?" kentrell said.
"oh yeah we just smoked like 10 minutes ago." i said making eye contact with him. he has some nice eyes that's for sure.
"damn yo tolerance must be low as the fuck" he said with a smirk making me chuckle.
"yeah it is. but say what's your stage name?" i ask him because if seemed like there's a lot of fans in there.
"i go by youngboy. youngboy nba. what's your name?"
damn that sounded familiar but i don't know from where. "my name is Kai."
"ah ha like a açaí bowl?" he said laughing a little. i
i laughed too. "ah ha, not funny" i said knowing damn well it was funny.
a timer went off in his phone and he started walking towards the door. "it was nice meeting you Kai, come in your friend is probably in the front row." he held the door open for me as i walked in behind him and it was a lot more fans in there than i expected. as soon as he got on stage they all started going crazy. i made my way towards ava and the concert was starting.
"cut my ties with my people now my grandfather poppin, ran it up all by myself though now they never gone stop me, and i see they said i flopped though yeah yeah, in my head i know what i know" as kentrell continued to rap that song i realized how lit it was and i quickly caught on to the beat. and more of his friends were on stage with him now including kd.
i listened as he performed more and more of his songs, throwing his shirt in the audience, jumping in the crowd and all. i actually liked his songs and none of them were bad. when the concert was over me and ava went back to the back and they were there. kd and ava were hugging again. "y'all want a ride home? he asked.
"oh kd it's fine we can call an uber-"
"nah i gotchtu shawty" we followed kd to a tinted jeep. i was excited thinking kentrell was getting in but sadly he was in the one behind us. oh well. maybe one day we'll meet again.
kd's friend drove us back to my house which is two doors houses down from ava's so she stayed the night. before i went to sleep i thought about kentrell but i quickly shook off the feeling because meeting him was just a one time thing.
