today is the day of my gender reveal! i'm excited but also a little nervous because my mom and dad will be there and this will be their first time formally meeting everybody. "kai you sure you don't want help setting up?" joe asked.

"no, i'm good." i said to him slipping on my shoes. i'm wearing a pink and blue long flowy dress that makes my baby bump stick out.

"kai i wanna come!" taylin said pulling my dress.

"sorry tay tay you have to wait with everyone else." i said bending down to his level and rubbing his head. he crossed his arms and stomped away. i walked out of the door and got in my car. kentrell was still sleep in the house so he couldn't try to follow me out.

once i got to the venue i started taking out the decorations from my trunk and setting them up. this is gonna be a lot of work.

1 hour later

i just finished decorating the venue and it looks amazing! i took out my phone and took a selfie of me standing in the venue and posted it on my instagram story. then i called sherhonda. "hey baby!" sherhonda said.

"hey! i'm ready for you to bring the food. i just finished setting up the venue." i told her.

"okay i'll be there in ten minutes baby." she told me. i told her okay and hung up. i saw a text from kentrell.

i went to the speaker and played some music. when sherhonda got here she had a whole bunch of food. "you look beautiful kai!" she said giving me a hug.

"thank you!" i smiled. i then helped her set the food up. she even made cupcakes with pink and blue icing. she also made cake pops, brought pink and blue lollipops, and helped me set up the hershey's. star got out of sherhondas car also.

"hey star!" i greeted her and we hugged.

"you look gorgeous." she said.

"thank you! you're welcome to have a seat or do whatever until everybody gets here." i told her and she went and sat down. kentrell pulled up and him and the boys got out of the car. he smiled hard when he saw me and i couldn't help but blush and smile uncontrollably.

he looks so good in his pink suit. he licked his lips and smiled looking me up and down. i ran to him and hugged him. "damn bae, you did all this?" he said.

"i sho did!" i said and laughed. he laughed too.

"let me get some pictures of y'all!" sherhonda said pushing us together. kentrell put his arm around me and i hugged his stomach as she snapped pictures. "do some more poses!"

we did different poses until she had enough. "y'all just look so cute together!" she said pinching our cheeks. the gang came and now we're just waiting for my parents.

"BESTFRIEND YOU LOOK SO PRETTY OH MY GOSH!" ava screamed running over to me.

"stop it your gonna make me cry!" i said wiping tears from my eyes.

"no! don't mess up your makeup!" sherhonda came running over to us.

i started crying, "too late." ava said. "somebody get this girl some tissue!" she yelled.

"here you go best friend." joe said handing me tissue.

"SHE IS NOT YOUR BESTFRIEND YOU INGROWN MAGGOT!" ava started swinging on joe.
