Chapter 1

Izuku woke up in his bed surprised about what just happened. He was busy thinking about that "dream" he had. A fox-cat-rabbit thing? Some weird green gem that he has? What the heck? He knew dreams were for forgetting things and stuff, but he has never one thought about fox-cat-rabbits or magical gems or Mag-

"OH, IZUKU, YOU'RE AWAKE!" His mom cried.

He was surprised from her sudden outburst as she hugged her son.

"Uh, mom, wait happened?" He questioned.

"Wait, you didn't know? You passed out in the doorstep!" His mother said.

" I DID?!" He cried out.

"Yes, you did! I had to carry you into the house and up to your room, and I was so worried! I didn't know what happ-" She was cut off as she heard a high whistling tune.

"Oh no, I forgot about the water! Rest well, okay?" Inko said as she barged out of the room to get the water.

"Hmm, so what did happen?" He questioned in his thoughts before Kyubey came along.

"Easy, you became a Magi, remember?" Kyubey said, startling Izuku.

"AHH! Kyubey, stop sneaking up on me next tim- wait, that was REAL?!" Izuku said as he realized it wasn't a dream.

"Of course it wasn't, your holding your Soul Gem in your hand!" Kyubey said.

"Wait, wha-" He was cut off as he saw the gem in his hands. It was an egg-shaped gem, seemingly held by gold lines. On the top was the symbol of a lightning bolt.

"Uhhh.. wow?" He said amazed.

"It looks so beautiful.. but I don't know anything about doing this." He said.

"Oh yeah, you don't know what Magi do." Said Kyubey.

After saying that, he started a brief explanation on the history of Magi, about Magi wars, and of course, Witches.

"Witches?" Questioned Izuku.

"Yes, Witches. If Magi are fueled by positive energy, Witches are fueled by negative emotions, and they wreck havoc on normal civilians. Ever heard of mass suicides? Around 80% of mass suicides are caused by Witches controlling normal civilians. A Magi's duty is to defeat witches." Kyubey explained.

"Okay, but I don't seem like I have the power to defeat 'Witches'," Izuku said.

"Oh yeah, just follow me." Kyubey said as he went outside.

"Hey, wait!" Izuku shouted as he also went out.

When both of them find arrived at the Dagobah Municipal Beach-

Izuku finally asked: "So, what are these powers?"

"Well, you need to 'transform' in order to unlock them." Said Kyubey.

"Wait, like a those Magi in TV shows? That's gonna look girly.." Izuku said.

"Don't worry, just focus your mind into your Soul Gem!" Kyubey explained.

Well, I'll try.." Izuku said.

As Midoriya focused on his Soul Gem, he was lost in the Soul Gem's glow, as if pure life was inside it. (Wink wink :))
