chapter2 (the present)

Shawn's POV

I sat down facing the huge mirror in front of me, taking in my reflection my make up was done professionally my blond hair was loose and curled it was nice, i stood up and took a look at my whole appearance, my face turned into a disgusted look when my eyes landed on my outfit, i wore one of my smallest skirts where you could see my underwear when i bend over it was very slutty and to top it off i wore a crop top where you could see my bellybutton piercing

"You can do this Shawnta." I encourage myself

I put on some of my white heels and when i was about to stand someone knocked, i let out a small 'come in'

The door opened and there emerged Shaylie, her face softened when she saw me

"Hey." She said with a light tone, she was wearing a tight blouse with short shorts and a pair of green heels

I rolled my eyes at her "hay is for horses" i joked, she rolled her eyes at me jokingly and smiled

" i see your humor haven't wore off all these years" she joked

"Yeah.." I trailed off purposely looking at her "but yours did" i said laughing

"Hey!" She said throwing a pillow at me i threw one at her too, we were about to have a pillow fight war when-

*BEEEEPPPP*

"Ooppss, guess that's Ashlie we better go, " Shaylie said nodding to the door "school starts at exactly 8 and its already...." She trailed off looking at her wrist watch and then her brown eyes turned tomato big and then she looked at me " 7:55" she said in an alarming voice my eyes went big as hers i quickly got my hand bag and we both dash outside, we heard Mr. Jacobs faint 'goodbyes'.

We got inside the car where Ashlie was waiting impatiently, i took the passengers' seat and Shaylie took the backseat, Ashlie gave us a look

"What took both of you so long?" She said looking at us with an annoyed tone "I've been waiting in this car foronly God knows how" we gave her our sheepish grin

She rolled her eyes at us "whatever. We're already late there's nothing to argue about" before she could start the engine she said "ready girls?" Shaylie gave her an approving smile, i let out a long sigh

" another day of pretend"

We walked to the empty hallways, the bell just rang a few minutes before we even got here so we just planned to skip

"Hey isn't that Logan?" Ashlie pointed ahead which made me turn my gaze and there sitting by the tree was a tall lean man and from where we were standing i could tell that his sleeping.

Taking it as an opportunity, i eyed him from head to toe, he had jet black hair which was messy and it gave him a care free look,he was wearing a black v-neck shirt, ripped jeans paired with black converse

"Yeah, it is!" Shaylie said surprised

I was confused who is this 'Logan' guy? I have known every guy here, i mean come on, i am called-what i am for a reason and yet i don't know him

"Who?" I said confused

The twins looked at each other looking like what they heard was alien-like

"You" Shaylie pointed at me "don't know who Logan Parker is?" she said shocked

"Yeah, what happened to the Shawnta Andrews we know? I thought she was the school's biggest sl-" i cut her off before she could continue i hate it when people called me a slut in front of my face i just hated it specially if some of those persons are one of my closest friends

"I know." I said with a cold voice

"Oh God, i am so sorry... I-I didn't mean it i swear! Oh God Shawnta i am so so sorry! It wont happen again i promise you, it just slip out of my mouth-" i cut her once again with my chuckle

"No, its okay, i know you didn't mean it" i said turning my attention to this Logan guy

" okay tell me who is this Logan?" I said suddenly getting interested
