I SHALL BE UPDATING THIS CHAPTER OCCASIONALLY
That night Jake didn't sleep. He could still hear the scream from his now dead friend Fred. After what felt like a year Jake finally stood up and made a small fire. that's when he saw the guards. there were three tall human shaped creatures that shined in the light from the fire. two of them had helmets. the third has holding her helmet under her arm. Besides that all three looked to be robotic.
"What do you want?" Jake asked trying not to sound as scared as he was.
the guards didn't answer.
Jake repeated himself "What do you want?"
They still didn't answer.
Jake repeated himself two more times and then changed his question. "Well if you wont tell me who you are. would you like to join me by the fire?"
Finally one of the guards moved. "That is a very strange invitation. You don't even know what to expect. Do You?" The last remark seamed to be more like a threat than anything ells.
"Well no...of course I don't know what to expect!" Jake was trying his best to sound confident. "If i knew what to expect i would have stopped Fred from getting himself killed!" Pure rage was now filling his voice.
"Calm down. I didn't mean-" The guard stopped trying to find words.
Now the guard spoke. "I'm sorry about your friend." She stopped to think. "His name was Fred wasn't it?" Her voice was kind and friendly.
Jake was shoked. "How....How do you know his name?"
"We were on watch when it happend. we heard you call after him."
Jake didnt remember yelling Freds name. But that didn't matter. "You heard and didnt help!!" He was furious.
