"That boar couldn't have gotten far." Spitelout muttered as he walked through the snow. The snow was falling harder now as he searched through the woods for a lost boar. Stupid Stoick. It's just one boar, we can loose one stinking boar! He thought as he looked up into the sky to try and use the stars to navigate. All he saw was a single large star. That star doesn't look familiar. And is it.....getting bigger!? He thought as his eyes widened. He yelped in fright as he leaped out of the way. The back of his boots were slightly singed as the object had just missed him. He panted in fear as his ears rang for a while. He slowly got up as the ringing slowly turned to the sound of.....a crying baby? He looked at where he stood just moments before was now a huge deep crater (the area where Hiccup met Toothless). Spitelout crept to the crater and looked inside with shock. The ground had cooled down from the falling snow, inside was a large thing made out of what looked like iorn. He managed to get to the thing as it opened up. He looked inside and gasped. It.....it can't be! What's a baby doing here!? He thought and carefully picked up the orb. "Hey little guy, what were you doing in there?" He asked gently and took the baby out of the orb. The snow fell worse and he quickly made his way back to the Meed hall.
"Hurry up and get in!" One of the Vikings said as Spitelout raced inside. They closed and baracaded the door as Spitelout shook off the snow. Stoick walked over to him. "So ya couldn't even get a simple boar huh?" "Yeah, i decided instead so save a baby." Spitelout said as those nearby looked over. Everyone was now looking at the small baby in his arms and smiled at him.....that was until Bucket got too close. The baby's eyes snapped open and he leaped out of Spitelout's arms. There was no time to react before the baby attacked Bucket almost ripping his head off with the helmet still on! Spitelout grabbed him after he had beaten the snot out of Bucket. "He's a Viking alright! A little snot beater!" Spitelout chuckled as he tried to settle him down. It wasn't until little Fishlegs wobbled over to him. His mother was about to pull him away when the baby leaped into his arms. Fishlegs closed his eyes tight expecting a mauling but instead the child was snuggled into his warmth. The Vikings were shocked and surprised at the same time.
For the first six months the village was in complete chaos and madness. The newly named baby boy Snotlout made everyone on edge in fear. He was ether smashing thinks, trying to kill people, setting fires and even killed a feild of sheep eating the meat raw. "This child is insane!" Stoick said as Snotlout wailed in frustration from being put in a dragon cage, the only thing so far that he couldn't escape from. "We need to figure out a way to channel that energy, if we don't we're all dead!" Gobber said staying far away from the cage. "He doesn't mean harm, he's just a warrior." Spitelout said. "That....that thing isn't staying on this island if this keeps on! We lost an entire flock to him!" Stoick snapped as Spitelout stood up. "I'll take him hunting for dragons then! Maybe if he kills something worthy of his strength then he'll settle down!" "Fine you have two moon cycles to do this, if not then he'll be floating out to sea." Stoick said sternly. Spitelout growled and dragged the cage as if it was an extremely heavy pram.
The villagers were in pure relief when they saw Spitelout's ship leaving the dock with the toddler in his arms. As soon as it was far from the island the people cheered in rejoice. Except for the Ingermen family who were looking for Fishlegs.
"Well well well! Looks like we have ourselves a stowaway!" Spitelout chuckled as he pulled Fishlegs out of the bottom deck. "Please sir! I just want to hunt a dragon too! My family never takes me!" The boy said as Spitelout sighed. "Not like i have a choice. We're too far from Berk to turn back." He said as Fishlegs smiled. "Besides, you're the only one Snotlout seems to like." He said dropping the young boy on the deck of the ship. Fishlegs thanked him happily as Snotlout watched from the cage. Fishlegs noticed him and opened the cage door letting Snotlout out. The toddler smiled and climbed up to his chest hugging him close. Fishlegs smiled at this and patted his head, his hair felt rough as if it was like a helmet yet was still soft to the touch.
For weeks Spitelout sailed with the two children as Fishlegs kept Snotlout entertained so the toddler wouldn't destroy the ship. After nearly a month of sailing they arrived at an island best known as 'Monstrous Nightmare island'. "Breath it in kids, that's the smell of manhood!" "I did not realise manhood would smell like raw fish, human urine and ten pounds of unwashed sweat." Fishlegs said unamused. Spitelout sighed and looked at the island. "Smartass." He muttered under his breath. Snotlout giggled at this obviously somewhat amused.
Spitelout was soon making camp in the depths of the woods. Snotlout was sniffing around like a wild dog as Fishlegs followed him making sure he was ok. Spitelout heard a scream and raced to the area to find a fleeing Monstrous Nightmare and a terrified Fishlegs looking over a cliff edge. Spitelout barely knew what was going on as he found himself scaling the cliff and retrieving Snotlout. Worried about his baby he immediately headed back to Berk with Fishlegs. He prayed to Thor that he was ok.
"So what's the verdict Gothi?" Spitelout asked in worry. Gothi started to write in the dirt as Gobber translated. "She says it's like he's a new child. He has no injuries and seems to be acting like a normal child." Just as he finished his sentence Snotlout waddled out of Gothi's hut making everyone step back. He looked around until his eyes lied on Spitelout. "Daddy!" He said happily and waddled to him shocking everyone. Spitelout smiled and picked him up. "That's my boy." He said and petted his head. "That's my Jorgensen."
"So.....I'm not from here?" Snotlout asked completely shocked by what he had heard. "I'm afraid so. I didn't want to tell you before not knowing how you'd react." Spitelout said as Snotlout got up and stormed off.
