The adopted mermaids

Chapter 1

Maddison's pov:

It was early in the morning when Isabelle and I sneaked out of the orphanage and down to the beach and while we were walking along the beach I found two bracelets with a charm of a mermaid on it.

I picked them up and gave one to Issie and slipped mine on then I said " let's go for a swim I will beat u to the water" "not on my watch" Issie said.

Once I was in the water i felt my legs get heavy and then I fell over. I looked in the water and I had a tail. " Issie come quick" I called and she came and she gasped. all of the sudden she fell in the water and a tail appeared on her. And at once we both said at the same time "we are mermaids" and then I said "maybe we will have powers" and she said the same thing. I had a green mint colored tail and top and Issie had an blue tail and top.

Isabelle's pov:

I can't believe what I saw we were mermaids. I then dove under the water and found out that we could breath. I then saw a book floating I picked it up and mentioned for Maddison to come over here. "Maddison come" she then came to me and we read the front cover and it said 'mermaid hand book' and I was amazed. I then flicked through the pages and saw spells and our names. it read on the front page

To Maddison and Isabelle,

This is the mermaid hand book for all mermaids it will teach u spells and all your powers and things u need to know in there.

From the mermaids

Under it had a list of our powers.

Maddison

Freezing things, telleporting, turning invisible, picking up things, mind reading and swimming really fast.

Isabelle

Heating things, turning invisible, telleporting, swimming really fast, mind reading, picking up things and erasing peoples memory only from what u want them not to remember.

Remember that u only transform when u touch water and u get your legs back when your tail is dry.
