chapter three (dark secret)

Like people always say, they is a secret behind every success.
On Friday evening, kelvin was caught taking hard drugs. The truth is that kelvin was advised by a wrong person to take drugs, telling him if he's going to remain good in everything he does, he needs to keep himself high. Because being high will help stay awake at night to read and strong and fast enough to win football matches.
The guy told him to be taking little so he will not get addicted but unfortunately for a smart guy like him, is was foolish to believe .
Mr Western: am  very disappointed in you kelvin Western, you use to be somebody every parents want their children to imitate. Now what are people going to say?
Kelvin looking sad, not by his father's words but by his mother's silence.
Kelvin: am sorry dad, mom and to you Jennifer. The truth i really didn't know i will get addicted to drugs, i was just advice to take it when ever i want to play ball or read. You guys were so proud of me, that i needed to do anything to keep it that way.
Mrs Western walks out with sadness in her heart and Mr Western goes after her. Living only Jennifer and kelvin.
Jennifer: "kelvin" am not angry at you, am just sad that i didn't notice on time, to help you out. But anyway i will love you no matter what.
Kelvin tries to smile
Jennifer: does James know?
Kelvin's frustration increases
Kelvin: no
Jennifer: James is going to kill you. Wat about your girlfriend Olivia, does she know?
Kelvin: no
Kelvin calls James and Olivia to tell them the little secret.

James: so what's is this important matter you want to talk about. Wait! Is Olivia pregnant?
Olivia looks at James with a serious face
Olivia:" James" if that's a joke is not funny
Kelvin:  am addicted to drugs.
James and Olivia looks at him and starts laughing
Olivia: what do u mean by drugs?
James: you are joking right?
Kelvin:  i took hard drugs in order to be able to play ball or read at night. It was supposed to be one or few times thing but it went out of hand and now my family knows and probably everyone in school.
James and Olivia smiles
James: you are like a brother i never had "kelvin" so no matter what, i will always love you.
Olivia: we will all go throw this together.
They all smile and hug each other.
