Chapter 2 <3

Dom's P.O.V

"Dom, Please just get me out of here. I dont want to be anywhere near him."

Instinctively reaching my hand out to wipe the tears that are trickling down her cheek.

"Hey, get your fucking hands off my girl."

I spun round just in time, he was raising his hand to throw a punch, i caught his hand mid-air thank fuck for all combat training as Jace, grabbing him by the throat pinning him against the wall, i have no idea where the strength came from but his feet were dangling beneath him frantically kicking trying to find the floor. 

"Not so tough are you when its a man your up against, if you ever come anywhere near her again i will end you. Kat is your stuff together?"

I dropped the asshole to the floor, turned around to see Kat scrambling everything together.

"yep everythings together, if you didnt already get the message loud and clear im no longer your girl, im not sure i ever was and stay the hell away from me."

Kat pretty much dragged me to the front door, stopping to take one last look to make sure he wasnt trying to follow kat out of the door, 

"just to make myself clear, if i hear youve been anywhere near her or hurt her again i will be coming for you and hell will be coming with me got it."

i seen him quickly nod and cowar away before kats dragging me down the hallway, we got halfway down the hall kats hand still gripping mine like a vice i give it a quick squeeze and she lets up some of the pressure so my fingers can now get some circulation to them, she looked over at me and her eyes were shining with relief and gratitude, i gave her a bright goofy smile which earned me a weak smile in return. We made our way down to reception where she checked out and informed the clerk that the asshole she hasnt told me his name but i think asshole fits is still up in the room and may need to be physically removed from the grounds. Kat finished her conversation with her, we finally got outside and into the car, both sat there paralyzed by the severity of what just happened. 

Kat's P.O.V

I can't physically move or speak, all thats currently running through my mind is what may have happened if Dom hadnt come to my rescue, i look over at Dom who looks ghastly pale and im overwhelmed by the gratitude i felt towards him.

"Thankyou Dom, i dont even want to think what may have happened if you hadnt have come when i asked you to."

He reaches over and grabs my hand something weve done a million times when were in character yet this time when his fingers touch mine its like an electrical current runs through my entire body,

"Honestly kat dont worry about it, dont ever hesitate to call on me if you need me im always going to be here for you whenever."

We smile at eachother i never truly noticed how beautiful his eyes were until that moment, i feel my cheeks start to heat up at the thought, Dom glances at the clock and curses under his breath,

" Kat im sorry to rush but its 5pm, weve got a meeting at 6 with the director, you gonna be okay? im worried about you im gonna be right next to you the whole time."

Oh shoot i forgot about the meeting, but i can get through this i play a freakin shadowhunter time to put my game face on and get through this meeting.

"A meeting with my favourite people in the world, i can do this, i just need to cover these marks, some concealer and foundation can do it"

I see him visibly stiffen,

"Kat i know you may not be ready to talk about it but what the hell is with that idiot and two i meant what i said if he ever comes anywhere near you again it will be the last thing he ever does."

Tears prick in my eyes, i fight to breath through the emotions building up in my throat swallowing down the lump threatening to choke me.

" I promise ill tell you everything, lets get this meeting over with, come by the trailer after the meeting please i need someone to talk to about it and cant think of anyone better."

"Definitely we can leave it together if you want and ill help you unpack."

i nod as im pulling my make-up out of the bag, Dom starts the car which gives me ten minutes to cover these marks and get my face together, i pull out my compact and feel bile burn the back of my throat at what i see, my emerald green eyes red and puffy from the tears, mascara down my cheeks in horrible lines and bright red welts around my neck from that maniacs fingers, taking a deep breath i push through. God only knows how i manage to cover everything as if it never happened, i look out the window once i finished we were just round the corner from the set.

"Dom, please dont mention this to anyone yet i promise ill tell them all when im ready"

"kitkat i would never tell anyone your business, its not my news to tell. you ready to do this?"

"Yep cant wait to see everyone  i missed them loads, come on panda lets go."

"panda, thats new i like it."

Both smiling broadly, we went to the meeting room everyone was already there, matt, harry, em, alberto isaiah the emotion of seeing everyone threatened to rip through the surface.  The meeting was quite quick and successful we got the script for season 2 and im so excited. 

"Hey Dom, you ready could do with your help."

"Absolutely KitKat Lets go."
