Chapter 8

It has been 6 weeks since I've started. All leads I have gotten have been useless. Whoever kidnapped Aiden and Zebbie took extra care to not leave any trace of themselves. By this point I was getting frustrated. I needed to get them back. Over the weeks, I have been training and tracking. Hoping to be ready for when I finally find them.

Right now, I was following yet another lead. The destination I was at was a warehouse. I could only hope this was it. Taking extra precautions, I made my way to the warehouse. With a gun in my hand and 2 daggers in my belt, I opened the door, ready to kill.

At first, I saw nothing. Until I felt something sharp and cold on my neck.

"I knew someone was trying to track us. Just didn't think it would be my own daughter," said a voice I recognized. One that haunted me every day and every night.

Turning, I saw the body belonging to the voice. I was so shocked that I dropped my gun on the floor.

"It can't be...... No....... Your suppose to be dead......." I said looking at my father. "You can't be real. The werewolves...... they killed you."

"Aren't you happy to see me? Your own father?" he asked in that eerie voice he now had.

"You are not my father anymore. The person I knew would never hold a knife to my neck," I spat with narrow eyes. "Now, where are they?"

"They? Who are they? I don't believe I know what you are talking about," my ''father'' said with a smirk that resembled mine.

"Don't give me that bull. You know who I'm talking about. Aiden and Zebbie. You know, the people you kidnapped!"

"A bit of a temper you got there. So much like your mother," as he said this he stepped out of the shadows more. I could now see his hairy complexion.

"Your.......a werewolf? You joined the werewolf terrorists? How....... how could you?" managed to say through the shock of it all.

He was about to say something, but was interrupted by many hairy men. "Boss, the prisoners have escaped," one said out of breath. I could tell my poor excuse for a dad, was outraged. I could help, but smirk at his misfortune.

"WHAT!" he howled in rage.

"We are sorry, sir. We shall start searching immediately."

"There is no need, Boys," said a voice I have missed.

With my father distracted, I took the opportunity to take out my dagger and stab him in the heart. I watched as he fell to the ground. Dead.

"Get her!" someone yelled.

I looked over, and ducked just in time as a paw came at my face. Grabbing my gun and shot silver bullets at the wolf attacking me. Three others started coming at me. From the corner of my eye, I saw Zebbie taking on two and Aiden four.

Now concentrating, I shot at one and he dropped. I threw my gun down since it was now useless. Guess it was time for hand to paw combat.

One lunged at me, pinning me to the ground. I kicked the wolf right in the kidney, getting my hands free from its grip. Taking hold of my daggers again, I stabbed it in the heart. The other wolf was coming at me with a murderous look.

I wasn't expecting it to be so close, catching me off guard when it hit the daggers out of my hands. I was not about to let some mutt beat me. I punching it in the mouth, then kicking its legs out from under it. Jumping on the wolf I continued to kick and punch.

With one last bloody punch, the wolf was dead.

Getting up, I looking over exhausted, and watched as Zebbie and Aiden killed their share of werewolves. Aiden looked at me, and I could see the love and exhaustion in his eyes.

Silently, he walked over to me and kissed me. The kiss was full of so much love. I just wish it could last forever.

"Look, I know you two have been away from each other for a while, but I really just want to got home and change," Zebbie said looking at us clearly annoyed.

Aiden put his arm around me and said, " Come on, lets go home."

I sighed in contentment. I finally, after all those weeks, got my Aiden back. I just hope this never happens again. With my luck, that won't happen, but for now you just have to enjoy it.
