Neighborhood Nip ...
March 4 2005
Nip walked the halls of South Crenshaw High. Excelling in his major, music. All the teachers admired Nip. He wrote beautiful poetry they told him sound more like songs. Nip was very talkative too. Not this shy teen that could not express himself. He just never like getting checked. Some in house suspension teachers wondered why he never got sent to their classrooms. Nip was on a mission. His future was always on his mind. Those beautiful brown deep puppy dog eyes showcased his soul. You could see he wanted to be who he really was. Don't accuse him of something he did not do. He would tell you himself if he did it. Leo's are Leo The Ram. The will ram you with goodness.
He loves melodies more than the lyrics itself. The instruments let's you feel the music and words go along with the title.
Good thing he had no chance of anything have his heart broken by some damn drama. He had no disrespect for any female. His favorite word was 'niggah'. He would explain that the Crenshaw neighborhood or district ' the hood or unit' was to be respected. He speaking about South Los Angeles. A place he adores. On hood niggah. Getting good grades is one thing and learning the street politics is another. Nip ... nipped both of them in the bud. Smoking bud helped. He sometimes reaped of kush, never cigs because kush was his brand of twenty in the pack. He took like two showers a day and a touch of manly body spray. He still explained that it was his right to smoke.
Didn't keep that snitch from wanting the Po Po to pull up and do locker searches. In Nip's case, they would have to wait under he had to do the number two to catch him. Honestly, that's really how they would catch 'Shitty Cuz' and that's how that niggah got his nickname. Don't tie Nip to that other Rollin 60 niggah. They already mean mugging each other over Petty Cuz. That was mainly on Fly Mac aka lame ass.
First of all, the girl had two babies before she was kicked out of any school. She bounced around. They all were in the same set that's all. Nip wanted something out of life. Just was no escaping Petty Cuz, she petty
At school was one way of life for Nip...
Reading strong black history books was a must. A lot of world black on black crime was now making their way into school texts for examples. Degrading how black neighborhoods live off section eight? Nip thought that's not fair. He see for himself all cultures benefit from the government hand outs. Don't just put that shit on African-Americans. Ole while they taking good got damn care of Charles Manson, but good rehabilitated niggahs doing time for mistaken identity. It's no justice. It's just us
Nip got out of school everyday by twelve noon, because he only had two classes and two study halls and lunch and out the door. Unless he wanted to help tutor some other failing students to help them get their credits. That he did help out with
Nip was a wiz at problem solving and his test scores at the top of his class. He still could be a bad ass too. The women made him that way. Always complimenting him. Loving his long hair and his eyes. His voice really was the main thing they loved to hear him speak. Soft spoken but educated. Likable and lovable. Charming and one more thing, a street fighter. His knuckles are bruised since the age of thirteen. If you did not have a gun to pull on him, you got a whooped ass.
Most gangs got their shooters and they got their fighters. Secretly Nip was both
It's not fair to helm up a King an Ethiopian Prince of Crenshaw and be plotting the parking lot by blocking the exits and filling up every parking space with dark tinted cars from a used dealership that is in on it. Have like three heavyweights surrounding you and another with his hands hidden. That niggah could have a blaster ready to come bustin as soon as the drama starts.
