My heart cries for that which it cannot have

It cries for that which it cannot possess

It screams for that which is within its grasp but can never be touched

I fear that such a temptation of such a delicacy is too much for a simple heart such as mine

My heart reaches out to that which is forbidden

But alas,it is too late

That which my heart longed for was taken up as my pondering mind wandered

Now sadly my heart cries for that which it could not possess

A slice of red velvet cake

Lol I had to throw a lttle humor in there.Whenever I read this to someone I always stop at the second to last line and ask them what they think the poem is about, then read it over and read the last line and they burst out laughing. ^_^
