"SAMMY!" You yell as you run towards your best friend.
You haven't seem him in 6 weeks. The jacks and sammy have been on tour and you knew that sammy was coming home today. Jack and jack were heading straight to LA when the tour was over to buy a house. They wouldn't be back to Omaha for a while because they were so busy, so you were planning on visiting them once they bought their house which would probably be a couple months.
"I missed you so much." He says as you hug him tightly. "How have you been?" He asks you. "Alright I guess, but I missed you, and.. Jack." Sammy can see the sadness in your eyes.
"Yeah. Jack misses you a lot too. He's been pretty down lately without you." Sammy says.
"I just wish I didn't have to wait SO long to even see him. That's almost 4 months. That's a really long time." You say with the volume of your voice decreasing. "On a good day I get maybe 20 minutes on the phone with him and maybe FaceTime him every few days. Some days I go without even communicating with him. I just miss him so much Sam." You can feel the tears brimming in yours eyes but you take a deep breath. Sammy pulls you in for another hug. "I'm just glad you're here, Sam."
"I'm glad to be here too." He says. "Wanna go get a movie and come back here to watch it?" Sammy asks. "Yes that would be great. But first, do you think Jack would be able to answer his phone right now?" You ask.
"You can try but I won't guarantee he will."
As you and sammy walk towards the car, you try calling jack. It rings a few times and just as you think he's not going to answer, he picks up.
"Hey babe." He says and you instantly feel more relaxed.
"Jack, I miss you." You say and then you realize he's no where within a thousand miles of you.
"I can't even describe how much I miss you. It hurts really bad, but I promise that when you get here, we will have the best time ever. We can do whatever you want to. We just have to be patient." He says.
You in a deep breath saying, "I know. It's just too long."
"I know. Well I'm really sorry but I have to go and catch this flight. I love you."
"I love you too."
With that you get in the car with Sam and he heads to redbox. Without turning his attention from the road Sammy asks you, "What's Jack up to?". "He's busy," you say. Sammy doesn't reply and nothing is said for the rest of the ride.
You and sammy arrive at redbox and are trying to figure out what movie to watch. You end up choosing a comedy and just as you two are about to leave, sammy stops. "WAIT I have an idea. Let's go get those cookies and decorate them with that icing just like we used to do all the time when we were little."
"Aw I miss those days YES lets do that!" You almost yell.
Sammy and you run to the back of the grocery store where the cookie dough is and pick up it. You then get the icing and the sprinkles for the decorations. You two happily walk to the front of the store and check out. Before you know it, you're on your way home.
As you walk inside your house you run to the kitchen with the bags because you just absolutely can't wait to start making these cookies with Sam. It brought back such great memories. You and Sam as little kids not caring about anything and just having fun. You two are seriously SOOO close. You can tell eachother absolutely anything and that's what you love about him.
You preheat the oven as sammy opens the cookies and puts them on the sheet eating almost have of them before they are even cooked.
"SAM WHAT THE HECK you can't eat ALL of them!" You say laughing. Sammy starts playing "Hot Nigga" and starts dancing as he puts them in the oven and you two are uncontrollably laughing. While you are waiting for the cookies he keeps playing more music to dance to.
