Let's Talk Highschools

*BEEP BEEP BEEP SLAM*

"Yes yes I know." Mizuko groaned. "Time to get ready for school." She slowly climbed out of bed and put on her school uniform. It was a simple black sailor uniform, the causal female uniform in Japan.

"Mizuko! Hurry up! Your friends are waiting!" Her mother called from the kitchen.

"I'm going mother!" Mizuko yelled back. She walked out of her room, and down the stairs. "I'll skip on breakfast." She said to her Mother who was offering her a plate of fresh scrambled eggs. Outside was her two friends Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo. She had grown up with with these boys and they just got accustomed to walking to school together in the morning.

"Took you long enough dumbass." Scoffed Katsuki. Mizuko laughed and ruffled his spiky blond hair.

"Says you. Usually me and Izuku have to wait for you." She said. Katsuki slapped her hand away. "Awh what's wrong? Is my Katsy getting flustered?" Mizuko teased.

"Tch. Knock it off or else."

"Or else what?"

"Or else I'll make you regret teasing me."

"Mhm." Mizuko muttered.

The trio walked together for almost five minutes before arriving at their local middle school.

"Hey! Bakugo there you are man!" Mizuko heard a boy yell. She waved and continued to walk with Izuku to class, while Katsuki walked off with his friends.

"How's the Hero journals going?" Mizuko asked.

"O-Oh! Great! I just got some amazing notable information on Kamui Woods the other day!" Izuku said happily. Mizuko smiled, the idea of heroes always made her quirkless friend happy. "I also added more to the page I have of you! Wanna see?"

"Sure." Mizuko said happily. She watched Izuku scrounge around in his bag before grabbing a notebook which cover says "Hero Notes for the Future. Vol. 13" he thumbed through the pages until he found the page that had a huge label at the top with Mizuko's idea of her hero name. 'Icewave'. She thought it was appropriate since her quirk had something to do with water. She can shoot water from the palms of her hand using the water inside her body. She can also manipulate water from a nearby water source. Though her special move was changing the state of water. Like making it into ice. Izuku handed the notebook to her. Mizuko happily took it and read the notes on her quirk and her hero costume she had created for when she gets into a highschool with a hero course. She smiled and handed it back to Izuku as their teacher walked in.

"Alright class today is a pretty normal day. I'm going to hand out applications to nearby highschools..." He stopped there. "Who am I kidding? You all want to go to UA right?" He said tossing the applications aside, causing them to flutter in different directions.

When UA was mentioned the whole class burst out in howls. Only to be interrupted by Katsuki Bakugo.

"All you extras can howl all you want. I'm the real deal." He stood up on his desk. "I'll be the only one out of this shitty middle school to make it to UA-"

"Oh yeah Midoriya don't want to go to UA?" The teacher said. The whole class broke out in laughter. Shooting insults at Izuku. Mizuko glanced back at him and took a breath.

"I want to go to UA too!" She burst out. The class stared at her.

"Now she is someone who stands a chance!" One boy yelled out.

"Tch. No way! Are you an idiot?! She-"

"Shut it Bakugo. Do I have to remind you of what you said to me last week? 'Your the only one who stands a chance in that dumb class besides me.'? Stop trying to act tough, it's not going to end well for you." Mizuko interrupted, finishing her statement with a wink.
