{LUCY'S POV}
I can feel cold sweat running down my back. The entire guild is staring at me with expressions similar to Natsu's when I first pushed him away."Wendy?" Levy-chan asks, breaking the silence.
Wendy shrugs. "Like I said, I have no magic capable of seeing how bad the amnesia is, if it exists. Or any to cure it if it does."
Levy-chan sighs. "Well, I know how to test whether it's real or not."
"How?" I ask warily.
She whispers something to Mira, who nods and turns away. Then she stands in front of me.
"I think I know why you're doing this, Lu-chan—"
"Lucy." I correct.
"Lu-chan. But it isn't my place to tell your secrets. So, as your friend, I'm gonna prove that you're faking it."
Mira finishes what she's doing and puts the glass on the bar. Levy-chan slides it over to me.
"Drink." She demands.
How did I get into this mess?
*flashback*
After declaring that I've never seen them before in my life, Natsu and Happy stare at me dumbstruck, while I glare at them.Natsu turns to Happy. "What do we do? Does Lucy really not remember us?" I hear something in his voice that I never thought I'd hear: fear.
"Maybe Wendy can fix her?" Happy suggests.
"You're right!" Natsu exclaims. He picks me up, Princess style, making me turn bright red. I'd be too embarrassed to do this even if I wasn't pretending I had amnesia.
"Let me go!" I shout, struggling, but his grip is iron. "Help! Somebody! Kidnapper!"
"Lucy?!" I hear a stunned voice, then Loke appears and punches Natsu. He must have come here after beating up those two guys.
Natsu lets go of me and jumps backward. Loke catches me and sets me on my feet. Both take defensive positions, then Loke realizes who his opponent is. "Natsu? What's going on?"
I cling to his suit jacket. "Help me stranger! I don't know what they want with me!"
"Huh? Stranger?" Loke looks more bewildered than angry now.
Happy speaks up. "For some reason, Lushi can't remember us."
"Look here you stu... Mr. Cat, but my name is not Lushi! I don't know why you all think you're so familiar with me!"
"Mr. Cat?" Happy looks hurt. I want to cry.
"I think I understand the situation now." Loke rubs his temples. "Lucy, what do you remember?"
I tell them about running away and wanting to join Fairy Tail. I was caught in a love spell by a creepy wizard claiming to be Salamander, only to have it broken by someone. Natsu perks up.
"I can't remember who though." I add on, and he visibly deflates.
"I see." Loke taps his chin. "It seems you have amnesia. Believe it or not, you're in Fairy Tail, and I'm one of your spirits."
I raise my eyebrows. "No way."
"Look at your keys." He challenges. I look at them and pretend to the be shocked by the new keys I got since joining Fairy Tail, and even more shocked by my guild mark.
I look up at Natsu. "So you're—"
"Do you remember me?" He asks excitedly, getting in my face. I blush. He's so close!
"—m-my guild mate?" I finish, pushing him lightly away. Natsu looks disappointed. Wow Lucy, you just friend zoned your child's father.
"Well, I'm gonna go back." Loke says.
"Sure. Bye Leo." I wave, forcing myself not to call him Loke because that would be a dead give away. When I say his name, Loke freezes, then gives me a pained smile and disappears.
When he's gone, I turn to Natsu and Happy. "Look, I'm sorry I said those things. It seems you were just trying to help me."
"S'okay Lushi." Happy says. Natsu just looks upset.
"Let's go." He mutters. I start to walk away, but the mountain of shingles shifts under me and I lose my balance. A second later, something warm closes around my wrist and steadies me.
"Y-You can let go now." I tell Natsu after I find my balance, but he shakes his head.
"I'm not letting you go again." He mutters, making me blush even harder. He just means that the last time he let me go, I fell, right? Right?!
We make our way awkwardly to the exit. The bottom half is blocked, making it a five foot drop. Natsu easily hops down, then turns around and grabs me by my waist to help me down.
The entire trip is eerily quiet. I miss taking and laughing with him and Happy like I used to.
When we finally get to the guild. I step inside and introduce myself, confusing everyone. Natsu and Happy tell the story about how I have amnesia.
Levy-chan doesn't buy it. She's convinced I'm faking it but, like I thought, Wendy has no magic that can prove it.
Awkward silence descends.
*flashback ends*I stare into the glass. My stomach drops. Levy-chan knows I can't drink wine while pregnant.
"Nice thinking! If she's drunk, she's loose lipped." Wendy says, to offer an explanation to the other guild members. She knows the real reason I can't drink wine too after all.
I stare in horror at the glass. If I say I can't drink it, they'll know I know about the baby, therefore I'm faking. But it'll dangerous for my baby if I drink it. They've got me.
I take a deep breath and lift the glass to my lips. Should I drop it? That's a little to obvious. How do I avoid this?
I open my mouth a little and tilt the glass. Right before the wine touches my lips, Levy-chan whacks the glass of my hand.
Everyone stares at her, shocked.
"I guess she doesn't remember. That was too close." Wendy says. I mentally thank Levy-chan and Wendy for caring about my baby so much.
"Remember what?" I ask, for the sake of not knowing. But it was curiosity that killed the cat.
"I said I wouldn't tell your secret, but I guess you need to know." Levy-chan shares a look with Wendy and they nod.
I have a bad feeling about this. She wouldn't dare, would she? Nope, this is Levy-chan. She would, she would, I'm definitely screwed.
Sure enough, my worst nightmare...
"You're pregnant Lu-chan."
