ZAYN'S POV.
TUESDAY

" I'm honored,
please! I would appreciate to know how it goes with the selling aspect and the feedback side of things..
yes I will be going to the bookstores..

No no problem mr.Heggins just call and tell me.
Alright alright, have a nice one! Bye. I said smiling big.
And finally I laughed out loud. Finally I sight happily. I couldn't wait to call my parents and tell them the news. I dialed my mum and after a few rings she answered.

"Hello sonshine"

"Hi mum! How are you?" I said trying to be polite and hold my excitement.

"The regular darling, doing great.., I went to the store today to buy some food items for my cooking meal today, hey are you using the spices I gave you?"
My mother is a passionate cook if you didn't notice.
"Yes mum I do when I get the time to actually cook my own meal."

"Darling why wouldn't you have the time to cook? Your working from home so it shouldn't prevent you from taking care of yourself and cook a home made meal, she went on...
"Mum, I know I sighed.."
"Zayn are you taking care of yourself?" Her voice got serious all of a sudden.
I sigh " yes mum don't worry and I called you for a special reason and it's going to show you how much I'm taking care of myself, when you hear the news I got. I said in a confident and happy tone.

"Don't tell me you got engaged..?" She said in a quieter voice.. like she don't expect anything that includes love and marriage from me.
I answered quickly in a defensive tone "no of course not mum! I'm still a young lad"
"Sonshine you know I just want the best for you"

"I know, but I actually got finished with the comic book project I told you and dad about, btw how are dad and my sisters?" I asked fast.

"ZAYN! Oh I'm so happy for you! Oh my lord!
Are you selling them already? I can drive to the nearest mall and get one? Oh your sisters are going to be so happy".... she said like she was in a hurry

I laughed " no mum, and you know that I didn't actually write the story or came up with this project, just got the chance to collaborate with them and did the drawings and to answer your question mum, they launched them today, so it should be available in bookstores and online as well"

"Baby I'm so happy, I can't wait to tell your sisters and dad when he comes home. I'm truly proud of you zayn...." her voice faltered and I knew she was starting to cry.

"Mum I miss all of you, can't wait til I get to see you and don't worry I bring the book with me for you.

And that went on for a hour! YES an hour of talking and this was nothing new. It always ended up with my mum on the phone for 30 minutes at minimum. I talked to liam too after and he was happy for me. Like I got my name credit at the end of the book and got to do the drawings, how cool isn't that?!
I made a plan to meet liam tomorrow around 3 'clock at the mall and I get to see him and check the bookstore there.

NEXT DAY/ WEDNESDAY

I woke up, answered some emails and ate my breakfast. I'm honestly a loner but a loner that enjoys his alone time so I got nothing to complain about.
I watched some documentaries on Netflix and literally just scrolled through my phone to see if some people have bought the book and which book cites are selling them.

I'm probably going to have to wait a few weeks to really see the feedback from costumers and their ratings. Even if I didn't write any of the story I still support this project because the opportunity they gave me and most important thing is because the amount of money that going to be earned most of it is going to go for the animal health care and I'm happy of that.

" I'm on my way bro" , "just went on the train", "okay see ya"

MOMENTS LATER.

"You know I've always been supportive of the stuff you do and your career. I'm so happy for you zayn.."
"Aw that's sweet mate", I said shyly, sitting in subway in front of liam.
"Literally, we have been friends for ages and you still get shy and still your mysterious self, come on, Lose up! It's your day" Liam said while chuckling.
"Oh shut up, my fault for being a humble human being and being low key for my success "I said smirking.. " and I'm not that shy come on.."
"You are literally the shyest person that I know " Liam said to me amused. He went on
"I swear you got to meet a friend of mine that doesn't stop talking then you're going to understand what I mean by my statement.." he said in a serious tone.

I looked at him. Studying Liam. So here's a little bit information about what he does. Liam works with business management and he is the one who helped me with this particular project. His parents lives in London but he got his own flat and I think his lucky for having his family close by.

"Anyway, are you done bro?" I said after finishing my sandwich
"Yes let's go" on our way out Liam's phone rings.

"Who is it?" I asked after he ended the call.
"It's Rick, he wants me to come to the office and they kind of came up with ideas for the autumn season, they want to talk about it".

"Oh okay, well I got to go to the bookstore and see the thang thaang" I chuckled.
"Okay, you do so weirdo" Liam said while smiling. 'bye mate'
'Bye bro' I said as I went up on the escalator.
