Repeated thumping can be heard clearly as it travels downs the stairs that lead to the large room on the second floor and echo through the living room. Ostin slightly raises his head from his book, annoyance etched in his features. He huffs and closes his book. Ostin sets the novel onto the small side table and pads to the stairs. As he stomps up the steps, the thumping gets louder. He opens the door, his mouth open, ready to rant, when the words catch in his throat.

The room was destroyed, the only things still standing were the cork board covered in pictures of people and clues and the whiteboard also covered in pictures and notes. Ostin looks over at the king-size bed at the long, thin figure of  his house mate Harris, banging his head into the wall, tears streaming down his face. "I hit a dead end." Harris says, his voice quivering. "Her killer is still out there and I can't find them, what kind of investigator am I?" The banging becomes harsher and the plaster wall begins to crack. Ostin hurries to the bed, wrapping his arms around Harris.

"Hey hey don't worry you've gone through this before, just breath and look over everything again." Ostin whispers into Harris's ear. Ostin feels Harris shiver and grip the back of his shirt with both hands. He grabs Harris by the face and looks him in the eye. "You will find them. I know you will."

Ostin looks at Harris a little longer, seeing and feeling the panic leave his body. After a large sigh Harris gives Ostin a small smile. "Thanks, don't know what I would do without you."

Ostin returns the smile but then it leaves when he realizes  that Harris is still clutching his shirt and he is still holding Harris' face. Ostin looks away and drops his hands. "I'm going to leave you to your case." Ostin says and he feels Harris release his shirt. "Okay and thanks again for calming me down."

Ostin nods and quickly leaves to resume his reading.

He gets a few minutes into the book before Ostin realizes that he can't stop thinking of Harris. Ostin looks at the stairs, then once he is sure that Harris is busy, he sets the book down and reaches towards his pants.

Ostin unbuttons his jeans and slides the zipper down. He then pushes his briefs far enough to grab his member in his hand and groans at the feeling. He begins stroking, his dick growing harder, and his stroking becoming faster with each thought of Harris. Thoughts of Harris above him, pounding into him, sweat running down his chest helps push ostin over the edge, cum spilling onto his hand as he grits his teeth to keep a deep, low moan from spilling out of his mouth. He strokes a few more times before grabbing tissues and wiping his hand off.

As he is zipping up his pants he hears the door upstairs open and shut quickly. He hastily shoves the tissues in the chair and pulls the book from the side table. He gets the book open to the page he left off from before Harris jumps down from the last two steps and runs over to him.

"I know where she was killed before she was dumped in the bay!" Harris yells as he pulls Ostin up and pushes the book out of his hands so he can hug him. "When she was saying Abby, she didn't mean a woman, but a place!" "You mean Saint Mary's Abby?" Ostin said referring to the only Abby in their town. "Yes, she must have been killed in the alleyway between the Abby and the abandoned apartment building beside it then she was taken to the bay and dumped there so any evidence on her would be gone if she was found. We need to go there and see if there is any evidence to find." Harris tightens his arms around Ostin, who tightens his arms in return. "I don't know what I would do without you." Harris says in his hair and Ostin fights the urge to place his face in the crook of Harris' neck.

Eventually Harris lets go of Ostin and turns towards the stairs. "I'm gonna grab my camera and coat so we can head to the alley. You call Pod and Andria and tell them to meet us there." Ostin does not hesitate to reach into his pocket and pull out his cellphone. He hits the two and waits for Pod to answer. It takes a couple of rings but Pod answers with a warm "Yeah?"

"Is Andria there?" "No, but I can call her. Did he get a clue?" "Yep meet us at the alleyway between the Abby and the apartments." Pod grunts and hangs up. Ostin goes to get his coat from the closet but before he makes it he steps on something. He looks down and sees his book in a mess on the floor. He sighs and reaches down to pick it up. "I love that boy but he needs to stop ruining my things." He thinks to himself as he sets the book on the table.

Once he finally gets his coat on Harris is already at the door wearing his long black trench coat and his old camera hanging around his neck. "You finally ready?" Ostin sticks his tongue out and pulls out his keys. "Lets go find some clues." Ostin says and tries to hide and small grin when Harris thrusts open the front door and bounds down the stairs towards the car. Ostin walks out the door and locks it, preparing himself for what he was about to see.
