It was time to return to another year of Hogwarts. Minho smiled the moment he saw his letter drop from the claws of his family owl, Dori, once again, hand running against the paper envelope when it landed in his palm. “Ah, did it come in? How splendid, sweetie! Let us see that list,” Mrs. Lee chimed, daintily taking the parchment. She looked it over, tongue sticking out. “We ought to go to Diagon Alley, then, eh?” she added. Minho nodded, a smile blooming over his lips, and ran upstairs to grab his cloak and possessions.

Packing his stuff away into the trunk of their car, he hummed a song Jisung had composed. Han Jisung, Minho’s beloved muggle boyfriend. He was the only reason Minho even remotely felt sad when summer came to an end. “Hurry up, little bro! Time doesn’t wait for you,” Minho’s older brother, Lee Hongbin, called out, a prideful smirk on his face. “And neither do Hogwarts!” he stated, winking.

With a snort, Minho remarked, “I know, I know. Just was thinking I’ll miss Ji.”

Hongbin rolled his eyes and ran back inside muttering, “You say that every time.” The youngest Lee waved goodbye to his animal companion, a cat by the name of Soon-ie, and ran off after his brother. He entered his living room to his mother passing out the floo powder. Hongbin grabbed and handful and went first, calling out Diagon Alley before he threw it down and disappeared. Mrs. Lee offered the pot to Minho and the boy mimicked the act of his older brother.

He immediately found himself in Diagon Alley, his brother motioning for him to hurry. Once they had gathered all the things they needed from the shops, the Lees packed up for their stay at Hogwarts.  Exiting their home, Minho found that Jisung awaited him. Immediately, the two broke into a hug. “You have to leave again? The both of you?” the boy whined, pulling lightly on Minho’s button-up.

“Yes, yes… I’m sorry, but I can’t miss private school. It would be such a shame to waste mother’s money,” Minho responded, clever at the drop of a hat. He was not a Ravenclaw for nothing. His boyfriend offered a pout, lightly putting his face into Minho’s chest. The action was too cute for Minho not to gush and nearly squish the boy. “I will miss you!”

Hongbin pushed both of them, snickering. “Jeez, lovebirds. We have a train to catch. Say your goodbyes at the station, now,” he announced, jumping into the car. Minho pulled Jisung into the vehicle, with a nod towards his mother. She smiled brightly and whipped out a muffin.

“I made this for you Jisung!” the woman cheered, placing the sweet into Jisung’s open palm. The boy thanked her and took a large bite out of the bread. In moments the boy was out. “Alright boys, hold on to your valuables and prepare for take off!” their mother chimed delighted that her Sleeping Muffin worked. Jisung would be out until they arrived at the station. She pushed the camouflage button and pulled the flight lever. Then they were off.

By the time they reached the train station, Jeongin was already waiting for their arrival. “There you are! I hope you guys have a delightful trip. Don’t forget to miss me!” the boy declared upon spotting them. Minho and Hongbin shared time hugging the younger male, Hongbin sneaking in a nice pinch on the cheek. Jeongin glared at him for the action, though.

“I guess this is a for real farewell,” Jisung groggily said, “I can’t believe I fell asleep in the car again. Precious time has been taken from me and now I have to wait a whole year to see you again.” Minho kind of felt guilty for pulling the same trick every year in different forms. Last year they used a scent infused into one of Minho’s shirts to knock the boy out. The year before it was a simple spell.

Minho hugged the squirrel-ish male again and kissed his head lightly. “I know. It pains me too. Just wait for me, okay? Maybe time will fly by fast this time,” the wizard offered, squishing Jisung’s large cheeks and pecking his nose with a kiss. Jisung giggled. The Lees unpacked their luggage and loaded them onto a trolley. Waving goodbye to the pair of muggles, the brother went off to Hogwarts.
