Woojin was just casually reading his favorite series of books, History of Elden Magical Vegetation, when he heard sobs. His paternal instincts hitting him hard, he closed the book and looked for the source of the sound to find Minho’s boyfriend curled up into a ball, his Gryffindor cloak wrapped around him. Approaching slowly, Woojin, nimbly put a hand on the kid’s shoulder.

Minho’s boyfriend jerked at the sudden touch and immediately proceeded to wipe his tears away. The Ravenclaw watched the other curiously. “Why are you like this? Another fight with Minho?” Woojin questioned, rubbing the kid’s back gently. The chubby-cheeked kid shook his head silently, offering no answers. “Well, I see you don’t want to talk. Would you mind if I just stay here and read with you?”

The other looked up at Woojin with glittering eyes, conflict hidden within the orbs. “I don’t. I’m Jisung and you are?” Minho’s boyfriend replied, voice small and wavy.

“Woojin, Ravenclaw,” the older boy responded, pointing to the symbol on his cloak, “Let me go get my materials and I will return.” Jisung watched him stand and leave, watery eyes trailing him. It took him only a few minutes to return, but to his surprise he saw that Peeves had appeared, pushing a few books unto Jisung’s heads. The younger kid stood, confused and scared, staring at the poltergeist. In terror, Jisung began to sprint away until he collided with Woojin.

Then Peeves swung in, grabbing ahold of Minho’s boyfriend’s nose, shouting, “I’ve got your cronk!” Woojin, as the prefect and parental person he was, was ready to threaten Peeves with Bloody Baron, but a new voice came, making Peeves drop Jisung’s nose.

“Peevey!” a Hufflepuff that Woojin knew as Kim Violet huffed, eyes filled with disappointment as she continued to speak, “Why are you harassing students again!? I thought you agreed to leave others alone if I would play with you.” Everyone knew of Violet. She was a rather loveable person, kind to all and fair about everything. She was someone who would sacrifice herself for others.  If Woojin wasn’t gay, he might have had a crush on her.

Peeves looked conflicted and upset. “We did, but we haven’t played and it was extremely boring all summer with only ghosts to prank!” Violet frowned, whipping her wand out. It was pearly white with two line indentations near the bottom and surrounding that was a rope design, twirling around the rod. Peeves eyed the action with interests. “You can’t use spells on me!”

Violet squinted her eyes, muttering, “Langlot.” Recognizing the spell, Peeves tried to dodge but was hit anyway. The now-silenced poltergeist, flipped her off, flying to her and pulling on her hair. With one glare from the girl, Peeves realized that he was threatening their compromise. The poltergeist flew off like a wounded puppy, probably in search of others to torment before Violet could find out about it.

“Thank you, Violet. I don’t know how you tolerate him,” Woojin thanked, rubbing a very confused, half-sobbing Jisung’s back.

The Hufflepuff just shook her head before gleaming down at Jisung. “Quidditch tryouts are next week, so everyone is practicing. The field is the Slytherin's right now, courtesy of Mr. Kim--the one who teaches Astronomy and Charms,” the girl stated, smiling at the pair, “Maybe you will like to join me in watching? I have to go cheer my woman on.”

Woojin glanced down to Jisung, who had stopped sobbing and was silently rubbing his cheeks with his sleeves. “What’s Quidditch?” the boy asked, both of the students gasping beside him.

“Well, you are out for a splendid surprise,” Woojin remarked, leaning down to pack up his books. Throwing the large, thick, elden books into his bag, Jisung watched curiously as they seemed to simply disappear inside the small satchel. “Charmed it,” Woojin chined, offering a smile to Jisung. Violet waved a hand and led the way to the Quidditch field after she grabbed a few books she came to get. “I like to lightly read when it gets a bit boring,” she had explained to them as she checked the books out.
