So, I know that sewing and embroidery are not very popular anymore, but I found that creating tapestries can be very relaxing. They are time consuming, but are great for keeping busy while watching TV or on a slow night. In the end, they're a very unique form of art and almost always turns out gorgeous.

This is roughly about halfway done. Looks pretty ugly in this stage, but every work of art is a mess before it's a masterpiece.

Completed! This is a cross stitch from "How To Train You Dragon" where Toothless and Hiccup meet. It's 15,000 stitches and took me roughly 9 months to finish. Let me know what you think or if you want any tips about beginning embroidery.
