The Bad boy with wings

No lies no nothing

It had been 2 days since I had last talked to Ace. I couldn't even look at him without becoming a little bit angry. I just don't understand why he had to be so mean about the situation, what did he have to hide and why did he feel so threatened by me.

I faked sick yesterday because of all the homework I was missing because of the big Ace distraction which means that I had to go to school today before I got more behind.

"Knock knock" a familiar voice came to my door.

"Come in" it was a little shocking to see James standing there with a bowl of soup and some
hot chocolate in hand.... wow I have amazing friends.

"How are you feeling?" James said with compassion written all over his face.

I hated lying to friends, it was easy to fool your family but never easy to fool you friends.

"Well... don't get made at me but..."

"Lex what is it?"

"Well James I a... I'm not exactly sick" this was a bad idea to tell him, he wouldn't understand why I've been falling behind and why I was ignoring my friends.

"So you faked sick! Since when does Lexi the perfect girl skip school?!"

"So you think I'm Perfect eh?" I said in a tease voice.  James was fun to tease but wait was he blushing?

"Aaa huh aaaa I meant school wise obviously a ha" James said as his cheeks were burning brighter then the sun. That was really weird for James usually he keeps his composure really well.

"Any ways , could you possibly give me a ride to school today James?"

"Yeah of course but what about Cam?"

" I'll get one with him tomorrow but I haven't texted him in a while"

"Yeah we have all missed you lately what have you been doing you seem very distant right now. Is anything bothering you?"

Classic caring James Ive always loved that about him.  He's like the brother I never had.

"Well, I don't know it's just schools got me going pretty hard right now. I'm just trying to get buy you know"

He seemed a little down, as if he knew something was up and that I was lying.

"Oh well you know if you ever need anything you can always come to me"  he leaned in for a hug and we just sat on my bed for a long few seconds.

"You better go get ready school starts in an 30 minutes"

"Ok I'm going I'm going, I'll be right back"

I pulled on some clothes and got my stuff together. James and I talked about our usual life conversations on the ride school. I always love the moments I get to spend with James, he knows how to live life if anyone really knows how.

Ace perspective

The last couple of days I spent with the boys just messing around doing stupid stuff that we know we shouldn't do but do it anyways.  We always had that bad boy reputation. " the boys you don't mess with" which never really bothered me. I mean we are on this earth for a reason.

The only thing that was bothering me for the last couple of days was that girl. She was so determined to figure out what happened. I had never met a girl that confident to come up to me and accuse me. It was kind of cute she was kind of cute. No ... no... Ace you can't think like that.

"Hey Ace what do you think about it?" Clarke asked.

"Umm... aaa.. what were we talking about?"

"Ohhhhh" all the boys started to yell
