~Peeeeep peeeep~ loud horns of cars that filled the roads of EDSA.
It's a typical traffic morning, were Filipinos curse each other by the passing minute because of their self cause traffic. Adding more carbon dioxide to the already sooo polluted and hot city.
3rd POV
"Get the fuck out of the road!!" shouted the man inside a black adventure car.
"You move out, your the one driving in the wrong side!!" shouted the other guy through his window shield.
While you hear the loud shouts and horns of the people and the cars in EDSA, a girl named Cassie driving a white scooter just simply used the other lane to avoid more commission and traffic.
Cassie's POV
"Ahhhh, finally" I said yawning as I got off my scouter.
"Morning cass" called out by the woman with long blonde hair.
"Oh hi Gina, Good morning" I replied smiling.
I waited for her in the entrance of the office.
Gina is the daughter of my boss, she works here as a planner. She's nice and smart so we get along pretty well.
~huff~
"Whew, haha did how have you been? We haven't talked in ages" she said as she reach me.
"Haha I'm fine, just a little stressed out"
"Huh? Why? Did something happened?" She asked confused.
"Nah, Mr. Roxas is just giving me so much work because of the new contract he signed up for."
"Ohhhh that, yeah me too so much to do, so much to think about" she replied while scratching her head.
"Yeah..."
We chat while walking out way to the office.
"No chatting in the halls!!" Shouted Mr. Roxas from his desk as soon as we enter the inner halls.
"Omp!!"
Both of us clamp our mouth shut as we sat in our seats sending eye signals to each other.
'what's the matter with him'
'dunno'
'do you think something bad happened'
'maybe'
"Mmmm.. something is definitely wrong." I mumbled
Carrying on my daily work. Arranging meetings and reviewing documents while copying some files.
Walking to the other side of the office I heard some familiar voice whispering in the janitors closet.
"Hey hurry up or someone will hear us"
"Yeah yeah just a minute, I'm cumming soon"
Followed by some rattling noise.
'mmm disgusting' I said walking away, deciding I shouldn't poke my noise in their business.
"Alright finished" as I typed my last scheduled meeting for tomorrow.
'We don't have much work today I wonder why...'
"Attention everyone!!" Shouted Mr. Roxas as he stand in the middle of the office.
"I have an important announcement"
'what could it be, he didn't tell me anything and I didn't receive any emails or calls today' I thought rather confused.
"Hard to say but the company is closing down" he said earning many what's and why's from the employees
"We've gone all long way through the years to keep the company as it is but sad to say that we can't keep going any longer, the company is closing down due to large sum of dept" he explained
'what!! Dept?!! We never have any dept' I thought confused on what's going on
"Clean up your tables and I will send your last pay checks in your accounts, that is all thank you everyone for all your hard work" he said sitting back to his chair.
"Cass what are we gonna do?" Gina asked worried
"I don't know, but did you know that we have a dept?"
"No, I don't" she said looking down
" Mmmm, then how... Welp we can't do anything about it now I going to clean up my table you talk to your dad okay." I said patting her back
"Okay"
I went back to my table picking up my things to be kept in the box
'hay' I sigh as I walk out of the office.
What am I gonna do now, I lost a job so that means the I only have one left how am I gonna save up now.....
