Dark clouds with roaring thunders filled the afternoon sky as heavy drops of rain poured. People scattered as they tried to find shelter from the rain and vendor's pushing their carts to avoid their products from getting wet. Shops pulling thier roof covers to prevent the rain drops from dripping inside. Jeepney drivers wiping their mirrors dry. Tricycles scattering on the road expecting a civilian to ride them. This is a typical rainy day in Manila every Filipino is already used to the inconsistent rain and floods here and there.
CASSIE POV
"Shit shit shit I don't have any umbrella!! I'm gonna be freakin' late" I said as I skip through the crowd on the sidewalk.
'Ompph!'
"What the heck!! Are you blind miss!!" a fat bearded guy shouted.
"I'm so sorry sir! I wasn't looking where I was going." I apologise bowing my head.
I wasn't really the one at fault but I don't really have time to argue right now accepting this is the easiest way to get over it.
"Tsk pretty but blind" he said walking away.
'hay' I sigh as I continue walking to my work place.
I'm already late anyway no use in running my way there.
~~5mins later~~
"Finally cass!! Why are so damn late!!" Michael said as I reach out office.
"I'm sorry I got out late from my other job" I said not looking at him.
Mr. Roxas decided he wants me clean the damn office before leaving even though I wasn't his employee anymore.
'That dumb prick is the reason why I'm late!! Ughhh!! I'm gonna... I'm gonna call him fudgee when I see him next time'
'Really cass? Fudgee?'
'what?! I can't curse him, his still older than me it's disrespectful'
God I feel sorry for myself sometimes.
"Well I don't care why you're late, boss needs you in his office, 10 mins ago!!" he said shouting every word in my face.
"Did he say why?" I replied
"The hell you're asking me that!! Am I the boss huh!! Get your flat ass in his office before I drag you there myself!!" He screamed.
" Yes sir" I said running to the elevator.
'gosh what's with today, why is everyone in the damn bad mood gosh'
I finally reached 4th floor, my bosses office is right around the corner.
"Sir? It's Cassie." I said after knocking on his door.
"Come in" he replied
'god I'm nervous what does he need from me'
