3rd person POV

Harry and Ginny say "ohh".

James sighs "yeah.......so umm".

"Is the famously loud James Potter lost for words" al grinned.

"Shut it Al or I'll say your darkest secret" James glared.

Al paled "alright fine I'll shut up".

Lily sighs and looks down, James leans over eye level with his sister "are you alright Lily".

"I miss daddy".

Al comes over "we miss him too Lil's we'll see him soon".

"Are you sure".

"Yes" James said he smiles "here" pulls out his phone looks up a song and plays it.

Lily and Al gasped at the song.

By the end of the song Lily was crying James and Al had tears fall and held their sister close. Lily says "I love you two idiots so much".

"We love you too fire Lily" they say.

The past looked thoughtful and confused...James says "the day of mom's funeral when we got home it was so quiet none of us talked or moved just sat there in the dark music in the background that song came on, well I can show yall".

They nod. You can see Harry James Al and Lily sitting in the living room looking lost James had scars on his face, Al looked utterly exhausted, Lily looked lost in Harry's lap.

Harry hears the beginning of bad day (the song) picks Lily up softly says "boys come here".

They go to him he wraps his arm around both of the boys still holding Lily and dances slowly the used to be family of 5 now 4 swayed to the song.

At the end they all had tears "remember I will always love you three always and forever".

The memory ended......Harry said "is.... Is there any other memories that you can show".

James says "yeah umm this happened last year I kinda got into a lot of trouble at the school and they may of had to get Aurors involved".

Ginny gasped "what happened".

James looked guilty. He looks at Al for help. Al says "James sent a 7th year to the hospital in critical condition".

They gasp Charlie says "how did you manage that".

James says sadly "he and another girl was talking smack about my mom saying she was weak she was worthless and that she deserved to die I hurt the boy don't worry i didn't touch the girl I'm not like that under no circumstances will I ever hurt a girl on purpose....but the guy was talking about my mama and no one gets away with it".

He plays a memory you can see James in the headmistress office head down tears streaking down his face. Harry was in the room also "professor McGonagall do you mind if I can talk to James alone please".

"Yes go ahead" she leaves the room.

Harry goes to his son "Jamie can you tell me what caused your actions".

Jamie says "he was talking bad about mom I couldn't help it".

Harry sighs "Jamie let me tell you something...when I was 14 almost 15 I was tortured and watched someone die I felt so worthless so angry so sad all the time...I pushed everyone away.. ik how you feel Jamie".

"Ik dad........I didn't mean to do this I just felt so angry he and the girl were talking bad about mom and I flipped out, I didn't want to hurt him I don't like hurting people" James cried.

Harry hugged his son close to his chest "ik Jamie, ik your hurt both physically and mentally and emotionally ik your angry ik you want to hurt the ones who are bad" James nods "you can't Jamie as much as you want to you got to be the better person and ignore them remember those who love you so much me al and Lily do, grandma and grandpa do, uncle bill uncle Charlie uncle Percy uncle George uncle Ron aunt Fleur aunt Audrey aunt Angelina and aunt Hermione do, Teddy Victorie Dominique Louis Molly Lucy Freddie Roxanne rose and Hugo do, even those who are gone my parents Sirius uncle Fred and mom does they are always with you in here" points at Jamie's heart.

James had silent tears falling down his face "I'll try dad I promise".

"You know you better be careful someone talked about my mom and your nana and me Fred and George got a lifetime ban of quidditch" he smiled.

"What how y'all play quidditch all the time".

"We do yes, but it was on the quidditch pitch after the game that gryphndor won against Slytherin, one Slytherin was jealous so he started talking about nana Molly me and Angelina were holding Fred and George back me George Angelina Fred but the second he talked about my mom I let go if Fred and both us muggle dueled him let's say we won".

"Who's stupid to talk about people's mom's".

"Draco Malfoy".

James mouth dropped "Draco Malfoy" Harry nods "Draco Malfoy as in Al's boyfriend's father Draco Malfoy".

"Yep".

"But I knew Draco for 8 years not once has he been like that".

"Draco changed after the war" Harry said.

The memory ended al looked absolutely horrified James says "what's wrong Al".

"Did you have to show that part".

"What part".

"About Draco".

"Oh oops sorry".

Al glares at him, Ron says "you have a boyfriend who so happens to be a Malfoy".

Al sighs "fine I'm a gay Potter who so happens to be dating a malfoy got a problem with that let me know".
