In ancient Japan, there was a legend of two dragon brothers; the Dragon of the North, and the Dragon of the South. Together they maintained balance and harmony in the heavens, working with synergy greater than any before.

But the brothers argued over who could better rule their land, and their quarrels raged storms in the sky's above, until the Dragon of the South struck down his brother. The Dragon of the North fell to the ground, shattering the earth into segments.

The Dragon of the South Wind had triumphed, but as time passed he realised his solitude, the sweetness of his victory fell into ashes. Over the years, the grieving dragon's sorrow threw the world into discord and he knew only bitterness and hate.

One day, a lonely stranger called up to the dragon and asked, "Oh Dragon Lord, why are you so distraught?"

The dragon told him, "While seeking power, I struck down my brother and killed him. But without him, I am lost."

To which the stranger replied, "You have inflicted wounds upon yourself. Now, you must heal. Walk upon the earth with two feet, as I do. Find the value in humility. Then, you will find peace."

The Dragon knelt upon the ground, for the first time he was able to clearly see the world around him, and so he became human. The stranger revealed himself as the fallen brother, and, reunited, the two set out to rebuild what they had once destroyed.
