NOT AGAIN

ELIJAH (ELI)

Malapit na palang mag alas 10 , may lunch meeting ako sa L Corporation , we will have a merging with some of our branch. I am the owner of the biggest magazine company in Asia, the E-M'gines. Familiar sa akin ang pangalan ng makakameeting ko mamaya, nabasa ko na ang lahat , we will just have an agreement para sa contract.

Masyadong traffic , kaya sure ako , malalate ako nito . Pinatawagan ko na lang ang kameeting ko na baka madelay ako ng  konti . 

"Hello , Mr. Leandres , nice meeting you finally ". I offered my hand.

"Yeah , me too , Mr. Mendez".

"I'm very sorry about the delay , medyo traffic  eh."

"Not a problem , I think , it's just a quits  since I forgot to bring the files, but don't worry my secretary is on her way ".

"HAHA, wow, then I don't have to apology ".  I think we will have a great merging . 

"I'm looking forward to it too, so let's eat first " he replied shortly.

AFTER 30 MINUTES 

"Ahh excuse me sir,etu----" may babaeng familiar na lumapit . I'm just glad to see her again . I thought she died.

"LEI ? long time no see". masigasig kung sabi sa kanya ngunit parang hindi niya ako matandaan "

"Yung kasama mo habang umiiyak nung nama--"I added up so she can really recall . 

"AH OO, NAAALALA NA KITA" nataranta niyang sago". bakit parang ayaw niyang marinig ang sasabihin ko o baka naman ayaw niyang malaman eto na aking kaharap na si Mr. Leandres, parang may pag aalangan siya. 

"You know each other ? he asked blankly , he's obviously asking Lei as his eyes are jus focused on her. 

"YES SIR". Nagkasabayan lang kami noon.," maikli lang sagot ni Lei . Nagkasabayan ? bakit ayaw niyang sabihin na ako yung lalaking tumulong sa kanya, ako yung nagligtas sa kanya at ako yung lalaking dumamay sa kanya. Pero after those terrible incidents, nawala siyang parang bula. May inililihim ba siya? 

Napag alaman kong alternative secreatary lang pala siya ni  Mr. Leandres, kaya inaya ko siyang magdinner. I want to ask her alot of questions. I want to know how was her life when she's gone. 

"HEY , Lei ,after shift , I'll go to your office,, I want to invite you for a dinner".

"Ahh ,ehhh kasi, hindi ko alam kung anong oras ako matatapos," tumingin pa siya kay Mr. Leandres parang humihihi ng permiso . Peru bakit ? Anu ba siya sa buhay niya ? Anu ang relasyun nila , may mas malalim pa ba?

"It's fine with me. I'll wait for you ", I determinedly told her. 

"It's up to you , sige po ", tuluyan na siyang umalis . 

I'm glad I meet her again . I was looking for her since then. I can't , loose her again, not again.
