When the party was finished with, (It took like 2 hours) Meeka and I decided to go to the local park. I could'nt keep the white haired boy out of my mind. But Meeka never said anything about so I guess it was over with. But I couldn't keep the boy out of my mind. My mind was wandering until I bumped into a tree. "Um...Akira? Watch where your going!" Meeka looked at me and shook her head. "Are you trying to give yourself a concussion?" I got up and patted myself. " Uh...No I'm not. I kinda got lost in the train of thought." I smiled and caught up with Meeka. "So...Whatcha thinking about?" Meeka sounded interested. "I was thinking about that white-haired boy. I wonder who he is." Meeka sat down on the wooden bench and crossed her legs. I sat down with her. It looked like she was avoiding the question. "Well? who is he?" Without looking at me. Meeka looked out towards the park. "Don't you love this park? The trees here are the greenest. The playground set isn't rusty like others, and there is a big water fountain to tie the park here all together. Even the kids seem happier here." I gave her a look. Even though she was right, she still by passed my question. "Meeka? Did you not just hear me? I was asking about the white haired boy." She turned towards me. "Oh? Him? um..I don't really know his name. I just know he is a friend of the family." She smiled at me. "So...when are you going to school? School starts in about 3 days for me." I looked out towards the park too. "I think I start in about 3 days too." I stretched and got up. "you go to the school that's right next to mine." Meeka smiled and got up. "That means that I can take you to school on the first day!" Meeka started to hug me. I calmly pushed her away. "Oh no. That's okay. i'll take my trusty steed Hana!"
Meeka stopped hugging me. She looked at me as if i were stupid. "You mean that old rusty bike? Why?" I walked out a bit more to get into the sun. "Because, I don't want you picking me up everyday. I mean it would be a bother just to pick me up from school everyday, and besides, I love my old bike Hana!" Hana. The last gift I received from my father before he left. It was on my 12th Birthday when he gave me the bike. It wasn't really a gift though. Since we worked in the fishing business, he gave me the bike for easy access to travel because I had to deliver raw fish to the big sushi companies. I still excepted it as a gift none the less. Meeka shrugged her shoulders. "I really don't want you to but if you say so." I nodded in agreement. "Yep!" Meeka motioned me to walk with her. "So, what do you see in this guy? My friend?" I sighed a bit. "I just wanted to know who was hugging you. You know...Because I'm like your sister?"Meeka smiled at me. "Yes of course your my sister! But I don't want you sticking your nose into something you don't want to know." I arched one of my eyebrows. "What do you mean sticking my nose into something I don't want to know? Is he a bad guy?" Meeka laughed. "No! I mean I don't really know but he isn't part of the Yakuza or anything! I just don't want to spoil anything for the future." I looked at her. "Spoil? It's not like I'm going to meet him again or something!" Meeka gave me a cocky look. "You never know. It could be destiny!" I gave her a confusing look. "How? isn't he looking for his long lost beautiful love? Meeka stopped and turned towards me. "Who ever said she was beautiful?" I paused and turned towards her. "Obviously she is, I mean his parents would kill him if he brought home an ugly girl." Meeka smiled at me. "Well...you never know!" As we were talking we bumped into some familiar guests at Meekas meet and greet. It was Maria and some boy. But by the looks of it, This boy was probably a boyfriend of hers. And he is cute. He is also probably rich. I wonder why he ever ended up with her. Meeka smiled politely motioned me to come with her. I didn't want to be bothered by Maria. But she is a friend, so I'll see what's up. Maria scowled when she saw me. But I could care less. The boy was smiling and greeted Meeka. Meeka knows so many rich people. "Hey Maria. I never expected you to be here." And hey Ha-Neul." Ha-Neul smiled at her. "Hey Meeka." Maria saw me staring at him. "Meeka! Your so rude! Why don't you introduce Akira to MY boyfriend?" Meeka looked at me and then at Ha-Neul. "Oh sorry, Akira this is Ha-Neul, Ha-Neul this is Akira." Ha-Neul walked up to me and shook my hand. "Nice to meet you Akira." I smiled at him and blushed a bit. "You too, Ha-Neul." Ha-Neul walked back towards Maria. Maria took this as a chance to kiss Ha-Neul. To claim him. To make the world know that Maria and Ha-Neul are together. I got a bit jealous at that point. But I shook it off once reality hit me. Ha-Neul likes pretty girls like Maria. He would never ever in his life go with a girl like me. My stomach began to turn. That's okay. At least I have Meeka as my friend. Meeka and Maria said there goodbyes and Maria and Ha-Neul began to walk the other way. Meeka looked at me. "I know...I know...She can be a snob. She should of never did that to you. But its not like you him right? I shook my head. "Of course not! We just met! that's crazy!" I smiled. Just then Ha-Neul and Maria turned back around. Ha-Neul walked up to me and smiled. "Hey and Akira? See ya around okay?" Maria budded in front of Ha-Neul. "Yeah! See ya!" And with that she turned Ha-Neul around they walked the opposite way. Meeka and I walked the opposite. "Hey, Akira?" I looked at her. "Hmm?" she smiled. "One day I just want to see you beat her up okay?" I laughed. "Of course! and then I can steal her boyfriend!" She laughed too. " Yep lets hope that one day it will happen and then I can steal her dresses!" We were walking home. Even if Meeka does Get Maria's dresses and I get Ha-Neul. I sure would be lucky.
