Robbery! Wait, Shadow?

~~Y/N's POV~~
I woke up to the sound of yelling and stuff falling over, I jolted up out of bed and quietly peeked my head around the corner just a tiny bit and saw multiple figures moving around. I could tell that the two figures huddling together were my mom and dad. I heard a deep voice near the middle of the room "Hurry up, put your stuff in the bag, already!"
"We already did! What else do you want from us?!" your mom shrieked, making you almost fall from how loud she was. The figure that was demanding more stuff from your mom and dad turned to you, and you widened your eyes. "I'll take the girl, then." He walked over to you and forcefully grabbed your arm, making you yelp. "Let's go." He dragged you through the room, while you looked at your parents with pleading eyes, your parents stayed silent and let you be kidnapped by this mysterious man.  He dragged you outside and let go of your arm, which was sore from his grip. You immediately slapped the man, making his hood fall off his face, revealing a ebony hedgehog with glaring crimson eyes.  "S-Shadow, I-I, I mean-" I stammered, half shocked and half angry at the hedgehog.
"You're probably surprised, Heh. I wouldn't blame you." a person wearing a red hoodie said, taking off his hood to reveal Sonic's face.
"I-I...." you started, but couldn't form words to describe your thoughts.
The rest of the hooded people were soon revealed to be Rouge, Tails, Amy, Silver, Blaze, and Knuckles.  You were seriously about to faint right about now. "Let's go home, guys." Shadow said, picking you up and skating off.
||at the house..||
--Shadow's POV--
I set Y/N on the soft couch and quietly put a blanket on her, while she snored quietly. I noticed something unusual on her arms, I picked her arm up and studied it. Bruises were all over her arm, some recent, some old.
Who did this to her? Was she abused? Did she do it herself? Did I cause this?

I sighed and thought about what she said earlier this week.
"--Everyone hates me, even my parents..."
I realized how rude I was to her at first, I wanted to apologize...but...I didn't know how. I ran a gloved hand through her hair and sighed, feeling bad for the poor girl.
Someone tapped me one the shoulder and I turned my head and came face-to-face with Sonic.
"Shadz, you alright.....?" he asked, sitting on the couch beside me.
"It's Y/N... Look at her arm.." I said, lifting her arm gently so Sonic could examine it. "Oh my Chaos.." he gasped, and I nodded sadly.
"I believe I caused some of this.. And I need to apologize, b-but I d-don't know how.." I whispered, feeling pathetic infront of my blue rival.
Sonic put a gloved hand on my shoulder and started to speak. "Shadz. All you have to do is speak your heart.. You have the heart to apologize, just not the courage."
I nodded and my eyes began to glaze up, the feeling of crying. A tear ran down my cheek and Sonic stroked my quills for reassurance, while I quietly let tears fall down my cheeks.
Poor girl...
Sonic stayed by my side the entire night, not wanting to leave me alone. I ended up falling asleep on his shoulder, but he didn't care.
