The eighteen men sat in their respective places, waiting patiently for the call which they were informed about. A call from the eldest man they knew among themselves.

They were left alone. Their parents, nor their siblings interrupted them or questioned them about anything.

Scared was a small word to describe what they felt at the moment. They were beyond scared. The fact that they were going to face each other after five years was really unnerving for them.

Their mobile ringed, making them jump in their places.

They picked it up simultaneously, with their hands shaking as if they had witnessed something horrible.

"Assalamu alaikum " they greeted, everyone together.

"Walaikum assalam" came the old man's reply.

They stiffened, it was after so many long months that they were going to have a conversation.

All of a sudden they felt nervous, as if they were going to school for the first time.

The old man began talking and all the sixteen of them listened attentively to what he said.

"I hope all my children are in good shape, and health. As much as I want you twist your ears and make you do sit ups until you can't walk, I can't, since you people are not in front of me. But, I am looking forward meet you soon.

I do not expect any of you to reply, in return, I expect you people to show up yourselves to each other before you approach me. As you have been informed, I am planning to invite you all, a get together to be accurate. But before that, you have to sought things out between yourselves.

What happened previously was not your fault, none of it was. It was our creator's will to take them away from us. Away from this cruel world, into a very peaceful one. To the world where those souls will be safe from any kind of harm.

I know you are badly hurt, mentally and emotionally. But by shutting out yourselves, you are making yourselves suffer more. You are guilty for the things you have not done. You have been blaming yourselves for the acts which were not committed by you.

It was because of my emotions that I got carried away. I let you waste five precious years of your lives. I let you go because I knew you needed time. But I did not know that you were going to take this long. But not now, you have suffered enough for no reason. Enough of your accusations upon yourselves.

You are escaping from reality despite knowing that it is impossible. You can hide from the truth, but you can never escape from them. And the truth is you were not at fault. You following the right way, if you think you were wrong, then please enlighten me, what is wrong in being correct?. What is wrong with following what's right?.

Nothing.

So it is my order, that you people meet up before facing me, which is exactly two days from now. And by order, I mean it. If any of you try to back out from this, I am not going to meet him till I have closed my eyes forever. If you still consider me as your family, your elder friend and especially your grandfather, then I am waiting for my grandchildren to obey what I have asked for. I will be expecting your presence shortly after your reunion at your old place, the edge of the forest, with those attires that you used to meet up before. I am looking forward to meet my grandchildren soon, my valorous daredevils.i hope my sons do not disappoint me. Allah hafiz."

Without waiting for them to reply he disconnected the call. Wiping the tears, which had escaped his eyes after hearing the voices of his grandchildren after so many years, made his heart at ease. He knew they would never disobey him.

He had a call from their parents, who said that their sons were falling apart each passing day. And it was then he decided that he took the matters in his hand.

While on the other hand, they did not know how to follow the instructions given by the old man.

Getting up they headed towards their house.

Most of them were now living separately. Alone, as the man had mentioned, they were trying to escape from reality.

Reaching their respective locations, they entered the place which remained untouched from the past five years.

The room which had every kind of definition about their friendship. The place which held every joyful memory they enjoyed together.

They stood in front of the isolated cupboard, which was located at the corner of the room. Though they were not at the same place, their every action was simultaneous.

Just like a man getting armed for the battle, The valorous daredevils got ready, whilst thinking, how and what to begin with.

They were ready, dressed in black Jean's, black v-neck t-shirt, with black leather jacket and black biker boots. Black had always been their color code. they walked to the basement of their respective places.

There stood their very own racing bikes with their names printed right next to the valorous daredevils.

They were not racers by profession, they were racers by passion. It was their favorite sport when they were studying together.

Every day they would go early to bed, and would wake up at exactly three of the morning. Dressed in their racing attires, they would set off together, to the edge of the forest to see the sunrise.

watching the sun rise up high into the sky, was like a booster for them. It would feel as if they were reborn. Watching the sunrise filled hope inside them, for them watching it was like a new beginning of everything.

It would take one hour and an half to reach the edge of the forest. Together they would race, together they would do anything to beat each other but in the end, the valorous daredevils always won together.

Moving to their bikes they grabbed the helmets and their gloves, wearing them they brought the vehicle to life, which roared thunderously in response. It reminded them of how they would tease their siblings with its thunderous voice.

The fear vanished as if it never existed inside them replacing it with joy for meeting each other. They felt alive. Making it roar a few times they set off to meet each other. Not with fear, but with Elation.

They sped past the busy road, with each passing second, their speed increased. It felt lively. Crossing the busy and noisy road, they reached the starting point of the road, which led to the forest.

One by one they gathered. But remained quiet. Not uttering a word. As soon as all of them were together, they began driving again.

Since they were wearing helmets, they could not see each other's face, yet they drove on. Just like old time, speeding past each other, attempting stunts yet driving carefully and looking after each other.

They had arrived to the spot where they had bid goodbyes five years ago.

Removing their helmets and gloves, they looked at each other, they were just like before but the only difference was the bags under their eyes, demonstrating their restless and sleepless nights. Their slumped shoulders were the evidence for their physical and mental tiredness.

They smiled looking at each other. The smile finally reaching their eyes and reviving their soul. Walking to the edge of the cliff, they sat down on the grassy ground with their legs dangling off the cliff.

A content sigh escaped past their lips.

"It feels good to be back".
