Crumble

Hospitals.

Hey ya'll hope you enjoy the first page of my new book I'm loving it very much so far!!

Emerald jumped waking in a cold sweat." What the hell." She pushed her hair back out of her face sweating and shaking, she looked around, she was in the gem hospital a place the wounded was sent to get repaired, healed, and if they where lucky keep gems from shattering. She noticed she was in a single room that normally meant one of three things.

A: She was going to die with some kind of unknown sickness.

B: She was very injured and her wounds were very very serious.

OR!!

C: She was likely to wake in a panic and to be away from other just in case , that and she was a sick and needed rest away from the hell of the hospital, at a times like this after coming home from war this hospital was a hell whole no one wanted to go near unless you have family here of course.

She knew it had to be both C and B sense one she wasn't drugged to the point just sitting up would give her a headache.

Two she wasn't in a bubble.

And three there wasn't a topaz with an ax ready to kill her without hesitation.

She rubbed the side of her head and stood slowly." Uah!" She ground in pain her left ankle was sprained maybe even a little broken, she still stood ignoring the pain and walked over to a full body mirror to have a look at herself, she saw the many scares, claw marks, seven wounds from being impaled many many times and the bit marks from the recent battle over the last three mouth from those strange creatures. Her left arm, right leg, left ankle, and her breast were all wrapped up in new gaze, blood was started to seep throw the ones on her arm just a bit from her movement.

The gaze around her chest had been changed to new one compered to the blood covered ones she had when she came back. Emerald looked at her hands, they were wrapped up as well that war...that war was unlike anything she had seen before and what happened on that planet would forever haunt her for the rest of day." I have never been so violent not sense....No." She started to shake." No Emerald don't think about that. " She said to herself and clenched her hands into fist and put them at her sides.

Emerald removed the gaze from her left thigh there was deep deep claw mark that reached the bone it was stitched up, cleaned, and fixed...or at least that's what others saw all she saw was the opened wound displayed on her thigh even though it wasn't really open that's what she saw it upset her deeply.

"What am I going to do now." She asked herself and wrapped her leg back up and sat in bed silently and calmly." Um the medicine ." She held her head feeling so so tired." Hasn't warm off yet um." She laid down on her right side her feet still on the floor, she closed her eyes and fell a sleep as fast she she had woken.

Meanwhile out side the door.

C: I said move get out of our way now!!" Citrine yelled trying to get throw. Selenite and Topaz where there as well they wanted to see Emerald in over 32 hours, but the guards wouldn't let them through to see her.

WD: No one sees that gem until I speak with her." The whole room went silent seeing the all mighty Diamond stand before them, she was a bit smaller but still taller and intimidating to everyone in the room.

C: And why the hell should we have to wait on you!! not like you give a dame about her, she needs us not you in her face!!!" Citrine was pissed Emerald meant a lot her just like she meant a lot to Selenite and Topaz, However neither of them had balls like Citrine did to go and scream at a Diamond that took hella balls.
