We walked into the restaurant. Not many people were there so it was very quiet and refined.

"Wait are you Kim Y/N?" The hostess asked me as she got us a table.

I wasn't used to people noticing me before Namjoon so I was quite speechless.

"You're so cute hon. You and Namjoonie make such a cute couple," she cooed.

"Ah thank you," I said shyly.

She led us to our table and said, "You're server will be here momentarily."

We opened the menu and started searching for some food.

I noticed Namjoon fidgeting with his hands under the table as he read.

I stared at him intently, curiously observing his actions.

"You're staring at me," he said coolly, not looking up from his menu.

"Because you're fidgety. Are you okay?" I asked.

His jaw clenched.

"Nam?" I said, taking his hand in mine.

"I'm fine Y/N," he said huskily.

"No you're not. We're going to take care of each other. Remember? This is as much of a journey for you as it is for me," I said, squeezing his hand.

He returned the gesture weakly.

"It's just, well I don't know," he said softly.

"Does it have something to do with being here?" I asked, pretty sure I already knew the answer.

"Ding ding ding. It's just, this is where I would've been raised. This is where I would've lived with my biological mother and father. And maybe I would've had to deal with my father all the same, but a strange sense of attachment is holding me. Like I know this place more than I realize. I mean my mom—ahem—she...moved on here. And my father—if you can call him that, is in jail here. It's just a lot to process I guess. Maybe I wasn't ready for this after all. I'm sorry Y/N. It was selfish of me to do this, knowing I wasn't ready yet," he gritted his teeth as he spoke.

"Hey. It wasn't selfish. It was noble, if you ask me at least. You needed to at least experience it. I don't know if I can make you feel better, nor do I know how to explain it, but you just needed to," I said, feeling the tears well up in my eyes. I had no idea why I was crying but I was.

"Hey, don't cry. Thank you for saying that sweetie. I guess I did just need to come. No reason. No 'because.' I just had to," he said.

I dried my eyes and smiled, rubbing his hand.

"How about I call the boys and tell them the good news?" I suggested.

He coughed, "Sure!"

I eyed him suspiciously.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing! Here I'll call them!" He said, quickly taking out his phone and dialing one of their numbers.

I went and sat next to him, waiting for one of the boys to answer because they were all at the dorm right now.

"Hello?"

"Hey hyung," Namjoon said.

"Hey. What's up?"

"Well I'm here with Y/N and we have something we want to tell you," he said.

"Hey boys," I hummed.

"Is that Y/N?"

"Oh my god my queen!"

"Yesss I love Y/N, where is she?!"

I giggled, "My boys I have some news!"

"Oh I wonder."

"I'm—" I looked at Namjoon, "Pregnant!"

"Oh my wow!"

"That's amazing!"

"Holy macaroni I win!"

Jungkook, Taehyung, and Hoseok's super exaggerated voice allowed me to catch on.

"Oh boy."

"Namjoon told you. Didn't he?" I questioned, giving a very defeated face Namjoon a look.

"Nooo!"

"You all are horrible at lying," I said.

"Fine he did."

"Tae!"

"Thank you boys. I'll call you later," I said.

"Sorry Namjoon. Congrats you both. I'll pray for you Joonie."

I hung up the line.

"So..." I said.

"So." He replied.

"I'll get you back for that," I said simply.

"Hehe Y/N, I didn't do anything," he nervously chuckled.

"Uh huh. Keep trying to appeal," I smirked.

"Oh boy. So are you uh...mad?" He asked softly.

"Mildly. I think you know how you can make it better though," I glanced suggestively at him.

He hummed something, casually getting up and sitting next to me.

"Something like this?" He asked.

"Mm maybe," I giggled, feeling his warm breath tickle my neck.

He gave me sweet kisses along my neck and jawline, making sure that the few guests who were there didn't see anything.

"Just curious, how many kids do you want?" He asked, in between kisses.

"I don't know. I don't really mind any amount. Maybe five?" I shrugged.

"I can work with that," he smirked, starting to massage my shoulders.

"Nammie, I think they're coming," I groaned, his hand untying the knots in my back.

"Darn. I mean we have a hotel booked so..." he giggled.

I thwarted him with my napkin.

Our server had come, apologizing for the delay in taking our orders.

However, because of of that, she did come with our food pretty speedily.

And the speed did not seem to waver the appearance of the meal.

We dug in, the delicious flavors filling our palettes.

"Holy moly this is amazing," I exploded.

"Wow. My home town knows food man," Namjoon said wistfully.

We finished off the dinner quietly, enjoying the simpleness of each other's company.

When we were done we drove to our booker hotel, and called it in for a night.

"So how was the date?" He asked, as we were getting into bed.

"Perfect," I answered.

"I feel the same," he said.

"Not just the date though. Everything is perfect. This. Us. The world. Well maybe not the "world" world but I mean our world. This world we're living. This life we're living. It's perfect," I said breathily.

He kissed my shoulders, turning me to face him.

"It is isn't it?" He said.
