In a live action show they need to show more of Daphne's ptsd from being a spirit and watching her planet be destroyed. Also obviously give more backstory to her and Thoren, they definitely have chemistry but the wedding felt forced since in the cartoons they talked like maybe three times tops. It would be interesting for the writers to show us where her great knowledge of magic history came from and how she was even hired at Alfea.
