SERIAL KILLER?

"2 weeks ago when my parents went to my hometown, Kim Taehyung shifted here."

"I already know that," Dohee points out.

"Oh I told you about it. Then listen to the story from the beginning," I say placing my chopsticks on the box.

It all started like this ─

"Mom, why didn't you take it out yesterday before going? Now you're calling me to do it," I whine, sitting on the sofa with my lovely laptop, ready to start a drama any time now.

"I forgot to do it. Moreover what will you do staying at home the whole day. It's not that you'll study or what. So take the garbage out." I get a good scolding from my mom.

"How can I forget? You're busy with your dramas, aren't you? You didn't even touch your books I can say that," Mom continues and I can imagine her to place her hand on her hip as she scolds me.

Here she goes nagging again, typical mothers.

"It's been only a day you went there but you're behaving like it's been months. Come on Mrs. Kim scratch it. The successful relationship of your daughter with dramas is going quite well, you should be happy."

"Whatever, what can I say to the girl who won't study no matter what happens. Did you eat?" she asks with concern.

Now it feels like motherly love.

"Yeah I did. Don't worry," I assure her. "You know you really don't need to worry about my eating. The best thing I can do is eating sooo..." I take a dramatical pause.

"Good then. I've cooked everything for you. You can manage for almost a week."

"I know Mom."

"If you finish it, tell Doksun. She's going to cook for you, okay?"

"Fine. I'll tell her."

"Okay I need to go now bye," she says.

She still worries as well as my dad like I'm a five year old girl who is staying at home for the first time. Yeah, it's the first time in years but who is going to tell them that I can take care of myself.

"Bye," I mutter more to myself because I'm already missing them. I honestly do.

Forget it Aeri. Dramas are here for you. So let's have some fun. I'm about to start watching the drama 'Abyss' until I remember what mom told me.

"Take out the garbage for God's sake"

"Fine let's do that first," I say with a loud sigh.

I take the bag and walk up to the gate. This is the back road more like a narrow alleyway with the house almost connected with one another. But this doesn't cover the fact that almost everyone living in this alley owns their private house. So this is almost a rich one. I look around to see if there are people around here, no there isn't any. It's not a quiet alley, it's just that now it's 8 pm probably everyone is busy with their works.
