RWBY and APRJ: volume 3

Chapter 5: never miss a beat

Russel and Sky, members of Team CRDL, were currently fighting Penny and her teammate, Ciel. Penny used her swords to stick them into the rocks that the two cowardly fighters were hiding behind. Penny saw that Ciel did not want to waste anymore time and quickly levitated her swords above the ground, lifting up the rocks and students that were on it. She slammed the rocks back down, creating a huge rocky explosion as the buzzer sounded through the ring.

"And victory goes to Penny and Ciel of Atlas!" Oobleck shouted as Penny bowed in respect, knowing at her opponents fought well.

"Thank you for a wonderful time" She said as she walked off with Ciel. Ruby and Amity cheered for Penny's victory and got off of their chairs, running towards her.

"Penny!" Ruby squealed.

"Ruby! Amity!" Penny then literally tackled Ruby into a hug.

"Why..." Ruby grunted, groggily getting up after the blow she accidentally received. Penny then pulled Amity into a hug.

"It is great to see you again, Amity" Penny smiled, unknowingly crushing Amity's body with her strength.

"Penny...my back" Amity wheezed. He was soon let go by Penny and breathed heavily.

"Oh, I am sorry" Penny made a sad face of concern. "I hope I didn't cause too much damage to your infrastructure"

"No, I'm fine, but my aura may not be" Amity coughed.

"Anyway, I'd like you to meet my teammate" Penny smiled.

"Ciel Soleil" Ciel greeted.

"Hi, I'm Ru-"

"Ruby Rose, fifteen, hails from Patch, leader of Team RWBY, status: questionable" Ciel listed, leaving Ruby blinking in a confusing manner as Amity scratched his head.

"So, does that mean you know-"

"Amity Millinike, fifteen, raised in Vacuo, leader of Team APRJ, status: different in a unique way" Ciel quickly replied, leaving Amity nodding.

"Right, that answers my question" Amity laughed.

"So...Penny! You two were incredible out there!" Ruby complimented with glee. "Who do you keep control of all those swords?! It's so cool-"

"Penny! I believe it is best if we move on to our next location" Ciel suggested.

"Uh, can we have just a minute to talk?" Penny asked. Ciel saw that they had time and moved back, allowing the three to talk.

"So, is she your friend...or..." Ruby asked.

"Well, in a way" Penny answered. "She's like Blake, but if Blake was ordered to spend time with you"

"Oh, like Weiss" Ruby giggled.

"Precisely" Penny nodded.

"And Roaul, in a way" Amity chuckled.

"So, does she know about...you know. 'Beep boop bop, does not compute'" Ruby tried to ask the question the long way and tried not to offend Penny, but Amity laughed at Ruby's attempt and came clean.

"Does Ciel know you're a robot?" He whispered.

"Oh no!" Penny answered. "General Ironwood doesn't really want anyone to know. There was that incident with the magnet, but I was able to play it off"

Penny remembered that time when she had that incident and laughed along with Amity and Ruby.

"Hey, Amity, Ruby. There's something I've been wanting to talk about" Penny informed. "I want to stay at Beacon"
