"Aish," Jae groaned, feeling a sharp pain in his arm. He was sitting in his apartment alone. The other two decided to figure everything out with the police so they had Jisung and Minho take them to the police station.

A small vibration of Jae's phone makes the guitarist groan even louder. He looks at his screen and sees Felix calling him. He presses the answer button and places it on speaker.

"Hello?" Jae answers, trying to keep his pained noises inside.

"Hey, heard what happened. Are you okay? Where are you?" Felix's accent sticks out with worry when he speaks English.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I'm at the apartment by myself," the injured man spoke.

"Do you want us to come over there? Chan's with me," the Aussie says.

"You don't- ouch, shit," Jae says, taking in a quick breath when another sharp pain goes through his arm.

"What? What happened?" Felix questions. The bassist hears murmuring in the background but he doesn't pay attention to it.

"It just hurts. I'm fine."

"You say that yet you don't sound like it. We're bringing food, be there in a few."

"Shit," Felix says, taking Jae's phone and looking at the photos of the wrecked car. Chan looks over his boyfriend's shoulder, a serious look on his face. "I'm so glad you guys are okay."

"Yeah, that looks bad. Is everyone okay?" Chan questions, looking towards Jae.

"I have no idea. The other people disappeared. The police were looking for them. They said it was like a hit and run sort of thing. And how the hell am I supposed to get a new car? I'm barely able to pay for this apartment and now I can't even go to work."

"That's complete bullshit," Felix responds, frustration dripping from his words.

Jae nods his head, leaning back into the chair. His neck was started to ache and his arm was killing him.

"You okay?" Chan asks, setting a gentle hand on Jae's shoulder.

"Mhm, just tired," the taller male answers.

"We should let you get some sleep. You've had a long day. Call one of us if you need anything, alright? Don't hesitate," Felix assures, standing up along with Chan.

Jae smiles, "thanks dude, I appreciate it. See you guys later."

He watches the pair walk out before hearing his phone beep with a notification.

[(Jae.six.boi): kang_youngk: hey, you doing okay?]

The guitarist smiles at the message, immediately opening his phone to respond.
