"After leaving home, you might find yourself feeling homesick. Even if you have a new home with nicer wallpaper and a more efficient dishwasher."
— Lemony Snicket

Just a few things to point out: I do not own either of these series. RWBY is owned by Rooster Teeth, and Boboiboy is owned by Animonsta, respectively. If you haven't watched either, I highly recommend them, as they are both awesome series. One more thing— I wrote this story with newcomers to both series in mind, so you don't necessarily have to be familiar with them to understand the story. If you enjoy this, feel free to vote, follow, and all that good stuff. Anywho, let's begin!

The story begins on Earth, on the island of Rintis, where a kid wearing an orange hat, orange vest, black undershirt, blue jeans, red wrist warmers, and a peculiar-looking watch is heading toward a beverage stand. A sign on top reads:

"Tok Aba Kokotiam (Tok Aba's Cocoa Shop)."

"Tok Aba!"

The boy shouts as an old man wearing a blue flannel shirt, brown pants, and a white hat looks up.

"Oh, Boboiboy, you're late for work again."

Feeling guilty, the boy instinctively scratches the back of his neck before admitting, "I'm sorry. I forgot again, heh."

The old man shakes his head chastisingly before sighing. "Oh, my grandson, you are still young. You shouldn't be more forgetful than me."

"S-sorry! I'll be early tomorrow." The young boy promises, only to receive another sigh in return.

"That's what you said yesterday." Tok Aba replies with an unimpressed look.

Not wanting to continue this awkward conversation, the boy quickly changes the subject. "Anyway, where's Ochobot?"

"I don't know. But he did mention something about helping Gopal with something."

"Oh? Is that so? Okay then..." The young hero sighs, disappointed by his friend's sudden absence. "So then... where is everyone else?"

Getting somewhat tired of the questioning—and the lack of actual work—Tok Aba replies, "How should I know? I'm not them."

"Right... I'll go look for them then." He turns to leave, only to be caught again by Tok Aba.

"Where do you think you're going, huh? You have work to do."

"Ah! I forgot again."

Suddenly, the boy feels a sharp sting on his arm and notices his watch malfunctioning. Before he can think much of it, his attention is torn away by a voice calling to him from the distance.

"Boboiboy!"

A female voice echoes from afar as a girl in a pink hijab floats toward him.

"Eh, Yaya? What are you doing here?" Boboiboy asks, pleasantly surprised to see one of his friends.

"I know you guys told me my biscuits tasted bad, and after finally trying them myself, I realized you were all right all along. So I thought, what if I experimented with something else? And this is what I came up with! Try it!"

Fearing another disaster (flashbacks of green goat milk haunt him), Boboiboy backs away nervously. "Eh? N-no thanks, I'm not hungry."

Somewhat hurt by his reaction, Yaya sighs. She understands why he's hesitant... but even still, her pride as a baker urges her on.
