Chapter 1 (Illness)

It was 12:34 in the morning. The night sky was cold as the wind travels inside my room. I looked around and noticed I was on a hospital bed. "The hell?" I said to myself waking up more.

The room was filled with gifts from a bunch of people. Some were from my siblings and my mother, while the other are from my classmates..well a few of them (*cough* *cough* Bakugou. *cough* *cough*). My head started to hurt when I sat up so quickly, so I laid back down.

A second later a nurse came in to check on me. "Oh my goodness your awake!" She yelled. "Are you feeling alright dear?" Right as she said that I sneezed and ice went everywhere. The room was completely covered in ice. When I sneeze it's usually a regular human sneeze, my ice doesn't go everywhere unlike what just happened.

"Hmm..it appears your quirk is malfunctioning, I'll go get your doctor..you stay here." She says walking out the room. I stayed in the room for an hour looking blankly at the wall. Just then the doctor arrived.

"Good to have you back son!" He shouted slapping my back gently. When he slapped my back my fire from my right side went off. I got so confused that I didn't know what to do.

"Hmm..indeed you are right nurse Amy. His quirk is malfunctioning. We'll try to find some type of cure to help you out son." He said in a gentle way. He grabbed the clipboard that was on the front of my bed. I watched him writing some things down then handing it to the nurse.

"You're free to go!" He said helping me get out of my bed. I smiled at him and gathered my stuff. "I called your sister to help you pick up your things, you can wait in the waiting room or here. Your choice" He then left the room without another word coming out of him.

I decided to stay in my room because I wasn't in the mood of being in a room with a bunch of people. An hour has passed, I was getting tired so I laid back down on the bed. "Damn..Whats taking her so long.." I said out aloud.

"Who's taking to long?" My sister says coming inside the room. I blushed from the embarrassment and looked at her. "N-no one.." I stuttered fidgeting with my fingers. She smiled and picked up some gifts from the counter. She placed them inside while smiling brightly.

"What are you smiling so brightly for?" I asked her. She looked at me and smiled more. "Well.." she says. "I'm just glad my little brother has friends!" Ouch that hurts. I sighed and helped her gathered my belongings.

"Hey, did you bring any extra clothes for me?" I asked putting gifts inside me backpack. She nods her head and pulls out a pair of gray sweatpants a plain white shirt, and a blue hoodie. I sighed and took the clothes from her and changed in the bathroom.

"Ready to go?" My sister asked tossing me my backpack. "Yea." She smiled and lead me outside to her car. "I'll drop you off at the main entrance of the school." She said getting in the driver. "Alright" I said sighing.

Time Skip~

I stepped out the car and waved goodbye to my sister. How long was I even in the hospital for? And what even happend that caused me to GO to the hospital? I just sighed and walked inside the dormancy. When I walked inside it was filled with party decorations..

There were streamers everywhere, confetti scattered all over the floor..and a banner saying, "Welcome back Todoroki!" I smiled and opened the lights so they can stop hiding and jump out.

"Welcome back Todoroki~San!" Yaoyorozu said jumping out first. She was wearing a red turtle neck and blue shorts to go along with it. I smiled and waved. "Welcome Todoroki~Kun!!" Midoriya said hugging me. The rest of the class jumped out and started hugging me, even Bakugou though Kirishima must have drag him from his room to here.

Just then the door opened behind me and Aizawa~Sensei came out. "I know Todoroki is back but PLEASE just go to bed already..its 1 in the morning and you guys have training to do." He sighed and slammed the door shut.

"So much for a Welcome back party" Kaminari said giggling. "Yea, what a party pooper." Mineta said from behind Kaminari. I smiled and said. "Alright Thank you, but you guys need your rest..I'll be fine by my own."

"Do you need help with your bags, Todoroki~San?" Yaoyorozu said. "Yea, I may need two people to help me." I said back pointing at my bags behind me. "I'll help Todoroki~Kun!" Midoriya said picking up the bags. "Thanks"

The rest of the class went back to their own rooms while Yaoyorozu and Midoriya were helping me. "How long was I out for?" I ask. "Two weeks" they both said together. Damn..I wasted two weeks of school, guess I have a lot of studying to do.

We brought my bags to my room. The one Yaoyorozu was carrying was a bit heavy so I traded bags with her. She smiled which made me blush. When we got to my room Yaoyorozu left first. I sneezed and again like in the hospital, ice went everywhere.

"Woah!" Midoriya said in shock. Yaoyorozu must have heard him scream and came back running. "Is everyth- Woah what the hell?!" She shouted. "What happened?" She asked looking around. "Well when you left the room Todoroki~Kun sneezed, then boom! Ice everywhere." He giggled when he made a sound effect for the boom.

"Strange, you should go to recovery girl tomarrow morning." I could tell she was worried about me. Her voice was a bit shakey then How it normally is. "Theres no need to worry, I'm okay." I said smiling. "Alright! Well i'm tired see you guys later." Midoriya said walking out the room.

Right as he was about to close the door he turned around and winked. He then mouthed. "Go get your girl..Todoroki~Kin" I blushed and hid my face. "Todoroki~San are you okay?" Yaoyorozu said coming closer. "Y-yea i'm fine.." I said forcing a laugh.

She smiled and hugged me. Holy shit..were so close... I hugged back while blushing as red as a tomato. "If your not feeling okay..you can always come to me.." Yaoyorozu said smiling. "Okay.." I said blushing and smiling.

Holy shit, Is this..A dream?
