Chapter 14

*URGENT: Meet me at the Hospital

And this is what I woke up to this morning. This better be good for ruining my beauty sleep.

I got up not caring what I'm going to wear. I put on a pair of dark washed distressed jeans and a grey v-neck. I walked out my room slipping on my leather jacket. I grabbed my keys off the table slipping my black converse on. Locking the door behind me I jogged down the stairs out to my car jumping in the drivers seat speeding down the road towards the hospital.

I pulled up to the hospital in 10mins flat. I walked through the door.

"Come on he's on the 3rd floor" Derek said coming out of nowhere walking instep with me.

"And who's he that we're talking about.??" I questioned walking down the corridor to the elevator.

"Isaac. He was attacked last night. We have to get to him before the doctors do." Derek briefed once we got into the elevator.

We exited the elevator on the third floor making our way to Isaac's room. I looked into the room, but Isaac wasn't there.

"Uuuh Der. He isn't here." I said grabbing his attention.

"What.!?!" He asked walking into the room.

"Yea. Ya sure this is the right room.??"

"Ya. That's what Ms. McCall said."

Riight. I saw a nurse walk by the door.

"Um excuse me." I called grabbing the attention of the nurse.

"Yes.??"

"Hi. I'm looking for my little brother. Isaac Lahey. He was suppose to be in this room. Do you happen to know where they moved him.??" I asked pulling the innocent card.

"Oh yea he's in surgery." She said pointing down the hallway somewhere.

Yea very helpful lady. Not.

"Alriight let's go." Derek said grabbing my arm dragging me down the hallway.

"She wasn't really helpful. She didn't even tell us where." I mentioned.

"Yea well lucky for you I know my way around this hospital." Derek said rounding the corner.

Before I can even give a snarky remark he took off down the hallway.

"Seriously.!?!" I chased after him.

I caught up just in time to see Derek sinking his claws into some dudes back.

No he did not just stab a random male nurse. There goes another body we have to hide out in the woods.

I ran into the elevator barely miss getting hit by the guy Derek through out the elevator. I turned just in time to see the guys face. He shot me a look. You've got to be kidding.

"Aren't you suppose to be in school.??" Derek asked Scott who was on the floor.

Weird how I'm just now noticing him. In the corner of the elevator was Isaac slumped down in a wheelchair. Aww poor little baby.

Apparently Derek didn't drive to the hospital. We laid Isaac in the back of my car. Derek got in the passenger seat and Scott was gunna ride his motorbike and meet us at the old hale house.

"You don't still live here riight.??" I asked Derek following behind him into the house.

"What. No. I have place near the ironworks." He said laying Isaac down on the table.
