    She ran through the dark, narrow alley, trying hard to breathe properly. She glanced behind and saw the creepy man is still chasing after her. Eventually, she met a dead end. Cursing, she punched the wall and turned to face the chaser.

    The man closed the distance between them. She stayed silent and decided to just watch. “You can run no more, Diamond Spade.” He hissed.

    ‘Diamond Spade? Who….?’

    “Rumors have been going around and it seems that we need to get rid of you quickly.” He said and withdrew a blade from his coat.

    Frowning, she raised her leg and kicked the man’s hand that’s holding the blade. Before the man could regain his composure, she kicked his ‘treasure’ down there before getting away from the man. The man groaned in pain but was fast enough to pull her arm and slammed her back onto the wall.

    She had no choice but to grab the blade as the man tried to stab her on the stomach. She gritted her teeth, biting her lip to sustain the pain and struggled to push the knife away from her.

    “Whoa, what do we have here?” a voice startled them two. “A defenseless girl against an armed man? Isn’t that quite unfair?”

    A man with blonde hair appeared before her. He grabbed the chaser’s collar and threw him backwards. Just then, two more appeared and the three of them surrounded the man.

    “Let me handle, Ryouta.” A voice said.

    On cue, a raven-haired guy came and stood in front of her, back facing. The coat that’s hanging on his shoulder fluttered slightly as he took out a gun and pointed it to the man.

    She tilted her head slightly so she could see the man. The three guys had made way for the raven-haired man to look. The chaser’s eyes widened in fear, stuttering.

    “J-joker! C-crown Deck! Please…. DON’T KILL ME!”

    Before she could speak, or rather, warn the raven-haired guy not to do anything stupid as in killing,

    The trigger was pulled several times.

    Her eyes widened and she slid off the wall as if she was the one who was shot. The raven-haired guy kept her gun and turned to her. He knelt down and held out his right hand, smiling warmly.

    “Found you, Cozart Yana; Diamond Spade.”
